A good steak for lunch offers a satisfying and flavorful meal rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals. Pair it with complementary sides for a balanced and enjoyable dining experience. This is one of my husband's favorite restaurants best service and food. If you love Amazing food Mach and steak this is the place.....5 stars we have been here 3 times in the past couple years...and the place is amazing I highly recommend it.

Average seafood, gorgeous seating outdoors ONLY! Too many servers tho, they were staring at us for our whole meal. Do not recommend the truffle fries, just get the regular fries !

Went on a Wednesday at 8p. Delicious food from start to finish for sure! The bread rolls were amazing. The steak was a little underdone as we ordered med rare. I took one star for the cocktails. We got a dirty martini and old fashioned and both were so so bad and those are pretty basic drinks. I took another star because the service was slow, they seemed understaffed and running around like crazy, they didn't discuss the menu and made us wait a while to order food. But, the truffle Mac was amazing; a must get!! And so were the root vegetables! Did I mention the bread rolls? Ambience inside is ok, can't really see the water at night from inside, other tables were extremely loud, but the outside seats looked very nice. I'd say this place is probably better during the day or early evening outside on the water and skip the cocktails.

I have passed by this place a few times and have always wanted to try it. It's in a nice location right by the water so i made a dinner reservation for valentine's day. Their second floor was open and we got to pick where we wanted to sit. The ambiance was amazing and so was the weather. After going through their menus we decided we wanted a bottle of wine. We ordered a bottle of white wine and when we got presented it, it was warm, and a few minutes after a bucket of ice was presented to us. We decided to order the steak tartare as an appetizer and 20 minutes after ordering it we realized we forgot to order the half dozen oysters. Another 20 minutes went by and we got the oysters but still no site of the steak tartare. When we finally got the steak tartare it came with breads that were stale and not crunchy at all. We thought it was because we took a few minutes to start eating but when we asked the server assistant for another batch, they came out the same way, stale. Besides that, they mix the tartare in front of you with the ingredients they include in it, which led some bites to be far too salty and others tasteless. By the time the second batch of bread came out, since the SA forgot, our entrees had already come out. We hadn't been pre marked with steak knives and still had our butter knives from the beginning of the course. We order the surf and turf medium rare, and some parts of the steak were cooked medium while others were cooked rare, with only one piece of the steak being a perfect medium rare. In addition, the steak came out cold. Through this whole experience our server was visibly busy and only visited the table a couple times to check on us but instead we had to ask the SA for most of the stuff that we needed. We go to a lot of restaurants and have never been so disappointed by the overall experience that we've received. The server, Clarissa was very friendly and tried doing whatever she could to fix the horrible experience but overall we feel as though the manager didn't really care about our remarks and never came back to visit the table after hearing our remarks. The only reason i'm giving this place two stars is because of the ambiance. I would never come back here to eat, maybe just for a drink at the bar.

S&W is usually my "go to" place for a drink. The wait to sit outside today was 1.5 hours...so we sat inside at the bar and that got crowded rather fast. I had to chase down the bartenders. The people working there are always really nice but our oysters took a while to come out and the steak we lost track of time. Eventually we had to ask them to just box up our food. One of the sides was ordered wrong so instead of giving us the option to 86 that out of our bill, the bartender chose to get another side made and we were trying to get out of there fast. Needless to say, our Uber was outside and waiting and we were just waiting around for the food while the bill had already been paid. This experience was not the greatest, but this is still a great place to eat and even better to people watch. The ambiance is always entertaining :)

Amazing waterfront spot. Food and service is always exceptional. Never disappoints-- worth the splurge.

The fried shrimp was over cooked and tough. However the coconut cake was delicious. The coconut shrimp at oceans ten was much better! Service is excellent.

Great spot with ample nearby or valet parking. Fresh (non frozen) steaks and seafood. Get butter on something. Service/staff is less than attentive but its a steak house so you're there for the food.

Let me start by saying, the food is AMAZING. However, service is lacking. I had bread put on our table and didn't get plates or utensils till we minutes after, which I had to ask for. I went on a Saturday, had reservations at 7:30pm and didn't leave till close to 10pm- that's ridiculous for a dinner for two.

I booked a private room for a work event and showed up to be told that they actually couldn't accommodate us anymore since they double booked. Probably a mistake on their end, hopefully not a deliberate bait-and-switch, but frustrating and embarrassing nonetheless. Be really cautious when thinking about committing to S&W for an important event. I love this restaurant, the food and the experience. I've been coming for years, so it's that much more annoying.

Same old same old and very, very expensive. This is a great place to impress friends and have (expensive) drinks. The location outside can't be beat. We had a reservation, arrived 10 minutes ahead, were asked if we preferred inside or outside. We took a peek at outside, indicated that preference and were then told there would be a 1 hour wait. Perhaps...perhaps not. We were a trio of women (of a certain age) so I have my doubts. Service was pretentious. I'm a NYer and a fairly sophisticated diner and can handle it...but I was questioned by the waiter about my order (steak au poivre) as though I didn't know what I was ordering. This went back and forth several times as he wanted me to understand that the steak would be coated in cracked peppercorns (duh) and I assured him several times that I expected a steak coated in peppercorns prior to grilling/searing. So awkward. The prices are fairly extreme, not so much for the location, but I'd expected that would keep the riff raff out. didn't deter the man with his dog AT THE BAR indoors, sitting part of the time on the bar stool, and not willing to move the dog for waiters or diners to pass...weird and awkward. Nor did it deter the portly fellow with a "lady" who looked like she was working and on something, frequently coming and going to the loo. Would I go back? No. We went because we were visiting and a pal who lives in Miami whom we were treating who wanted to go there. But being NYers, we knew what to expect. Met expectations.

I was looking for a nice place to eat in Miami when I stumbled upon the reviews of this place. While the reviews were hit or miss, there seemed to be one dish that stood out, Angry Shrimp. I was intrigued so I had to try it. The pictures show 4 shrimp and the price is $27, however when I got there I was notified that it's a 3 shrimp dish. This matters because $27 is a lot for 3 shrimp. What I will say though is rude the shrimp were actually jumbo prawns, on a bed of mashed potatoes, and absolutely delicious. The shrimp had a nice brown crunchy coating. I that said, they could have been seasoned better. The starter bread is absolutely delicious, and they bring out butter, and the Caesar salad I ordered had the right ratio of cheese, croutons and dressing. The service was good as well. I will note that street parking outside of this restaurant is an insane flat fee of $20.

My second time to this restaurant the first time they put me by a swinging door to the kitchen my fault I didn't complain (actually I did, but they had nowhere else, so I just stuck it out) But in the long run, that experience left a bad taste in my mouth my daughter gave us a gift card to go back, which is the only reason I came The wife had the plank steak I had the ribeye as I Do most of the time at steakhouses asked for medium well and came back charred throughout The wife asked for medium well also hers came back medium well as asked good the service was excellent unfortunately, the food wasn't.

Terrible service - ok red wine list - sent back wifeys stake and my salmon. Beautiful venue thought.

So disappointed in the entire experience. Waited for over an hour for food. Service was so below standard. Food came cold and steak was not prepared how we asked for. The unfortunate part is that you can never get this precious time back. So looked forward to taking family here and just embarrassed by the entire experience.
