The appetizer fish dip and the Crispy fish sandwich were excellent. the hammock salad with Mahi add on was lacking. The Mahi was on the dry side and the salad was good but not great. The server tried to be helpful but spoke in hushed tones that was difficult to hear and understand. This did not contribute positively to the overall experience.
Everything about Stiltsville is acceptable, but not outstanding. We have been there a number of times and I have felt the same at each time. The staff are all very friendly, although the service this time was not the best- slow and we had to look for our server on several occasions. The food was good enough to want to go back, but nothing exceptional. Overall it's a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Highly recommended if you love seafood. The menu has many creative versions of classic dishes, and a few that are unique to Stiltsville. Our server, Natalie , was very welcoming and did a great job of explaining the dishes and looking after us.
