It used to be a hidden gem, especially for their happy hour, and became less than mediocre now.
Happy Hour is just half amount for half price. Food is not as good anymore and the last 2 times we went there, we also didn't have a good experience with the service. The place itself is very cozy, but so is my living room.
There are much better options in Miami Beach now for Sushi.

We went for happy hour, some of the prices on HH were the same as in the normal menu, the dumpling soup had no flavor, extremely blend. “The manager” was not really happy working there and not helpful. Come on guys, it used to be my fav spot!

I recently went to this place with a friend, we ordered a couple of sushi portions and a portion of Korean ribs. The final price came to $88. I paid with my credit card and was given a receipt showing that the final price was $88. However, a few days later, I checked my bank account and found that $102 had been charged for unclear reasons. (On the day I was at the establishment and paid my bill, I immediately checked my bank account and it showed $88 as pending, but when the pending status cleared, the amount increased to $102 for unclear reasons.)

Sushi garage used to be one of my favorite neighborhood spots especially for their everyday happy hour, but I feel like the quality has gone down significantly over the years. During our most recent visit we got the rainbow roll and spicy salmon roll, neither of which had any fish on the inside, only on top and the fish quality was subpar. Our service was average, nothing note worthy. Overall good ambiance, a nice place to do a post work happy hour, but I wouldn't recommend if you're looking to splurge on a nice dinner or occasion.

The rolls were smothered in sauce. The rice was gelatinous. I was unsure how fresh the fish was especially the tuna roll. Atmosphere and service were great but rolls are grocery store quality at best.
