Sweetgreen is one of my favorite lunch spots when I’m in NYC. I visited a Sweetgreen in Miami for the first time, and I saw something I’d never encountered before: one of the employees (tall and young guy)had his phone out in the kitchen and was touching it while cutting vegetables. My appetite disappeared instantly, because I can’t help thinking that the same phone is in his hands for 100% certainty when he goes to the bathroom—for the big business.

I recently ordered a meal and mistakenly ordered it for pickup. I immediately called to cancel but Sweetgreen said that 1 minute was too late to cancel because it was an ASAP order. Then I had to wait 2 hours for my reorder to be delivered although that was an ASAP order. When I complained to customer service all I kept getting was automated responses saying they understand how frustrated I must be feeling. Terrible customer service. Just salad for me from now on.

No roasted chicken at 1:00 pm, and blackened chicken enough for one bowl. (party of two) Food is delicious but is unbelievable that you run out of protein by lunch…? Now i understand this is a place yo eat what is left rather than the options of the menu.

I loved this place, it was always fresh, great taste, big portions, but as I finished my salad with maybe 2 bites lift I found a huge fly of some sort at the bottom 🤮 unfortunately I’ll never be able to eat it again.

I’ve worked in the hospitality industry and understand that some times is just a bad day but I have never experienced such poor customer service as I did at this Sweetgreen location. The store was completely empty when I walked in only one cashier and one attendant were working. The cashier disappeared into the kitchen, while the attendant finished an order and then started making online orders right in front of me without even acknowledging my presence. No eye contact, no “I’ll be right with you” nothing.
I patiently waited, thinking maybe she just needed a minute. But instead, she continued preparing multiple online orders, placed them on the shelf, then began cleaning the counter and going in and out of the kitchen still ignoring me standing right there. Eventually, I had to speak up and ask when she’d be able to take my order. She looked confused, then called the cashier out. The cashier simply said “excuse me, excuse me” (I assume to apologize) and told me they only had chicken and one other protein available. That’s something I should have been told as soon as I walked in, not after wasting so much time waiting.
By then I was frustrated and asked why they let me stand there so long. I left without ordering, only to have the attendant chase after me saying they could “do it now.” Too late. I ended up calling my wife to let her know she wouldn’t be getting her Sweetgreen bowl today, and went to order at your competitor a few blocks away instead.

This Sweetgreen has always delivered excellent customer service and top notch salad quality. We have been lucky to always have been served by Teresa who is friendly and always crafts the best salads. We have observed her positive upbeat attitude with all patrons and is a delight to interact with.
