So the wifey and I decided to check out this “Spanish” restaurant that she was obsessing about from a year ago for our anniversary. We were seated expeditiously in an outdoor patio area that faced the pool. The decor and atmosphere gave off immaculate vibes. The food was definitely on point compared to other “Spanish” restaurants that I have been to nationwide (definitely took the number ONE spot in my book).

Our server whose name is Zacharias was definitely the highlight of our experience. Not only was he exceptional at explaining everything on the menu. He also gave us chocolate covered strawberries to end the night without even knowing that it was our anniversary!

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that has never been!

Mareva 1939 (National Hotel) – Lovely poolside breakfast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had breakfast at Mareva 1939 in the National Hotel, which is usually known as a Spanish fine-dining restaurant but also serves breakfast — and you don’t need to be a hotel guest to dine here.

The setting itself is beautiful and very artistic, with outdoor seating facing the hotel pool, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable.

We ordered Steak & Eggs and Two Eggs Any Style. The steak deserves a special mention — it was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly, definitely a highlight of the meal and highly recommended. We also had coffee, which comes with complimentary refills, a nice bonus.

Service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Overall, it was a very pleasant breakfast experience that I would happily return for.

Absolute best restaurant in Miami Beach! Must try patatas bravas and one of the arroces dishes.

Been here 4x — every year we make sure to visit and see FLAVIO, the best waiter on the planet! Ask for him and he will make it the best night ever!

They are not allowed children under 10 there and they don’t even told us about that at the beginning

This was our second time dining here in three days. The reason we came back a second time was because of superb food and service. The reason we will come back a third time, is because the second time mirrored the first! Front of the house and back of the house staff are impeccable. Food was excellent. Bravo to the Chef.

We arrived at this gorgeous venue with great expectations. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. We ordered the grilled octopus which consisted of sliced pieces of octopus on a bland potato base. Flavorless, unappealing and definitely not a dish prepared by an experienced chef. We ordered the lobster and seafood rice as a main course, and once again, we were extremely disappointed. The lobster was rubbery and the whole dish was over salted. We would not recommend dining here.

Fantastic experience all around. Quality food, wonderful service and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend getting the Cava (sparkling) sangria. This is the only place i found it outside of Spain and it was perfect.

We spent our New Year's Eve already the fourth time here. The first time it was a beautiful evening with kind people, wine (a very good Chardonnay was included in the price) and there was a fantastic buffet. Later times it wasn't a buffet anymore - now you have to pay extra for the wine and they offer a three course menu but there were still nice evenings. But yesterday, we had a reservation for inside in the hope that it would be a little more warmer and more cozy than outside but the restaurant manager told us that the reservation would be only a request and they decide where you have to seat. After a while he gave us a table inside but the air condition was so cold that it was very uncomfortable in the restaurant and we didn't feel well. Sure that I wear a shoulderfree evening dress but I can't put off my jacket. My askings about to make it a little warmer didn't use anything. Unfortunately my husband and me had the impression that the stuff wanted to get us away possibly very fast maybe to have the table for other guests. The food was okay but not worth for the price of 130 $. I‘m sad to say this but I don't believe that I will make a reservation for New Year's Eve anymore. But what I have to say: Breakfast ist very well at Mareva and the Service at breakfast ist very kind.

Zach was our server and everything was phenomenal. Particularly blown away by the ribeye, scallops, and manchego flan! It was quiet on a Friday night at 8pm when we went but the food is too good to miss!

It has a small menu limited choices but what we chose was delicious . The ambiance and the piano bar was spectacular. What a great night

Both our host and our server Erik did an incredible job making us feel welcome and taken care of. Their menu recommendations were on point all while being very attentive, not to the mention the restaurant/hotel being stunning and engaging. Highly recommend trying Mareva out!
