We had the most wonderful time in the Tambourine Room. What a perfect combination of exceptional haute cuisine and gracious service. Add to this the impressive wine list and expert advice from our sommelier and you have an evening to remember. This restaurant has earned its Michelin star and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an experience that rivals the best international restaurants.

Tambourine restaurant cancelled on us 4 hours before arrival. Next availability the following weekend when we're long gone. We came all the way from London and stayed at the Carillon specifically to experience this restaurant, only to receive a lame 'unforeseen circumstances' cancellation notice 4 hours before arrival.

We had the immense pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday at Tambourine, and it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, thanks to our fantastic server, Vladimir. His attention to detail and genuine warmth made us feel truly cherished throughout the evening. We were very lucky to have a personal experience as we the only ones there for the evening and that in itself was incredible.

The six-course tasting menu was nothing short of phenomenal. Each dish was a stunning work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The wine pairings were expertly chosen, perfectly complementing every course and elevating the entire dining experience to new heights.

We will be talking about the shrimp, halibut and desserts for a very long time; truly culinary masterpieces!

Tambourine is a culinary jewel in Miami, and we can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to indulge in some of the finest dining, this Michelin-starred restaurant is an absolute must-visit! In fact, this place deserves a second Michelin star.

This is another one Michelin star restaurant that deserves two stars for the food and service (they will never get it, as they don't have their own bathroom facilities, as is common for hotel restaurants). We've eaten here twice now. The most recent meal was fantastic. The squab in particular was the best I've ever had, by a wide margin. The halibut was exquisite as well. I highly recommend eating here.

Note that it's a single seating every evening at 7pm, and all the tables are served each dish simultaneously, so they are less able to accommodate dietary restrictions than most other fine dining restaurants.

I always love the chance to try any Michelin restaurant! First time at the Tambourine Room and was served a 5-course tasting menu.

Staff was lovely, and each drink pairing I really enjoyed.

The presentation on each dish was a work of art especially the mussel along with the Hawaiian Shrimp course. This seafood course may have been my favorite as it was very unique.

There was a large party in attendance who were very loud but I understood they were just having a good time.

Also, not shown they served a rye bread with a brown butter that was VERY GOOD!

Being jaded by the Michelin choices in Miami I can tell you this is the one to visit.
Real food, perfectly presented by a real chef-
Not a cook!!! I wanted to find something wrong but it was simply perfect. The unique combinations of flavors was outstanding. Oh and desert….. that a whole other story. Loved it !

I approached this restaurant with modest expectations, but the dining experience far exceeded them. From the moment you sit down, the waitstaff treat you like the most valued guest, attending to every detail with meticulous care to ensure your complete satisfaction. Each course is thoughtfully balanced and beautifully presented, creating a truly remarkable culinary journey. The dishes are consistently flavorful, and the desserts are nothing short of superb. I highly recommend the wine pairing, as each selection perfectly complements the flavors of the food. While the Michelin inspectors awarded the Tambourine Room by Tristan Brandt one star, I believe it truly deserves two. It stands as Miami’s best restaurant.

Made a reservation for a Sunday night since we are staying in the hotel. 4 days before they call and tell me my 16 year old daughter is not allowed. They don’t accept children, she is 6’ tall and can drive. Tell me how can a dining establishment discriminate against someone’s age? It’s not a bar it’s dining!!

The Tambourine Room by Tristan Brandt offers a culinary experience that transcends expectations. From the moment you step in, the service is impeccable, elevating the dining journey. The 10-course tasting menu is a symphony of flavors, each dish meticulously crafted to delight the senses. Paired with the perfect wines, it's a gastronomic delight. However, the unfortunate hiccup of being double charged for food slightly tarnishes an otherwise flawless experience. Nevertheless, the excellence in cuisine and service makes it a destination worth returning to, albeit with a cautious eye on the bill.

My partner and I ate here and had a wonderful time. The food was quite nice and high quality. Each dish was unique, with different textures and combinations of tastes. The staff are also very nice.
The beef tartare/caviar addon was not worth it. I would not recommend it. The course is already more than enough food on its own.
While the food was quite pleasant, it is definitely overpriced, and I would not go again.

I looked at some of the bad reviews for this restaurant, and some of them are slightly warranted. (foam and puree and sauce on literally every dish, bad lighting that constantly flickers…) But overall, it was a good experience and if you have the money to burn, I would recommend it.
I have been to a fair share of high end restaurants, however, and Tambourine Room definitely is overpriced though.

3-course menu (which is only 3 courses by virtue of there being three primary courses - we actually had several more than three).TR has carefully cultivated an entire experience around their tastings, and it was a success for my visit.Food quality is impeccable. Presentation excellent. Flavor is very carefully crafted and typically had a complex array of different flavors to savor. Wine pairings were great. Wait staff was flawless and constantly attentive in just the right amounts.Food highlights were the tuna, duck, duck dumpling, and the pineapple/hazelnut dessert which was incredible. It's on the pricey side for a 3-course Michelin star - you can go to Stubborn Seed and pay about the same for a much larger-course meal of similar quality - but overall it was a fantastic experience.

We had a business dinner at the Tambourine Room Thursday night. There were four of us and we had the entire room to ourselves. We were welcomed with several small bites before the tasting menu started. The wine parings were great with every course. This is definitely a great Michelin Star experience.

Vegetarian options: We has a vegetarian with us and they have a vegetarian option of every tasting menu item. I love meat but this is definitely one of the most vegetarian accommodating places I have seen.
