Overall the tacos were good. Not great. The Al pastor was not good. The atmosphere is gross, it’s in some dingy hostel bar. They charge for a cup of water. There’s no service. You scan a QR code and hope your order comes out, yet they still ask for a 20% tip. This is not a place you drive to and go out of your way for. If you are coming in from the beach, worth a stop for tacos. But not an actual restaurant you would go for a meal. 3 small tacos will cost you $18+ we enjoyed the steak taco. The fish taco was just a chunk of fried batter. And the Al Pastor Taco had one tiny chunk of pineapple in the entire thing. So basically one bite with pineapple. The tacos were pretty dry, none had guacamole or sauce on them. Overall a decent taco but for anyone raving about these tacos, I have to question if you have ever had a great taco before ? Because these are definitely not great.

The blue corn tortilla chips are very tasty. They are made fresh daily. They are served hot and are thicker than traditional chips. The salsa, quest, and guacamole are also homemade and are very good. Shown in the photos are the asada, fish, and shrimp tacos on the blue corn soft tortillas. The restaurant is a neat find on the A1A (Ocean Drive/Collins Ave area. This was some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. The video shows the quaint place but leaves out the amazing food. The prices are amazing and Ala Carte.

Casual Taqueria along the beach. Patio and inside seating. Food and drink orders are placed at the bar and delivered to your table. Fresh Blue Corn Tortillas are one of the highlights. Chicken Tacos, Guacamole, Margaritas all phenomenal. Service is also excellent and friendly.

Fresh, delicious, economical and satiating. Get the horchata to top off all the yumminess! We had the Barbacoa and the rajas- didn’t know peppers can be this yummy! Also the elote corn was perfect.

Awesome tacos! Had the Asada, Al Pastor and Chapulines (grasshopper) tacos, which were all great. Would definitely go here again.

As a Mexican I have very high standards for this type of cuisine but everything was?. We cleaned our plates. The carne asada was tied with mahi mahi taco. The carne is a bit spicy and the fish is amazingly crunchy. Super convenient you can order either at front or at tables and they bring your food out as it’s ready. Absolutely would return!

Checking out the sites and sounds of south beach when my sidekick says she is starting to get hungry. Keeping with the triple D theme we find this towns top taco joint. What amazing flavor and great service. The chips and guacamole was insane, crunchy warm chips with a soft center and real deal guacamole. My sidekick tore her tacos down going with the barbacoa and carnitas both top notch taste. I tossed down my two also, going with the mahi and pollo both also amazing flavor. If you want a great taco in south beach this is tops for sure and it’s also triple D approved.

Overall experience was decent. Restaurant was clean, service was polite and food was served pretty quick. As for the food, I ordered 4 tacos - Lengua, Asada, Rajas, and Huitlacoche. The lengua had good flavor, although a bit dry, asada had ok flavor but also a bit dry, rajas I was not impressed (didn't have a distinguishable flavor rajas typically have, not sure if maybe they used a different kind of pepper?), Huitlacoche also wasn't impressed for the same reason. Salsas were not bad but tangy? Tasted almost like they put lime in the salsas. Typically more acidic salsas are paired with seafood, so that kind of threw me off, don't think they really complement the flavor of the tacos I got. Please note I am reviewing as a Mexican, and while I understand an establishment such as this needs to market to a broad audience, not specifically Mexicans, I would like to point out a few additional things -1) The cilantro was not finely chopped (not a good look, comes off as lazy) and consisted of more stem than leaves, which was actually quite distracting when biting in2) The radish - which is typically served as a palate cleanser - was placed inside the taco, should be on the sideI would hesitate to return

Went because of “Diners…” show with Guy Fieri. Had shrimp tacos and asada - both were terribly overcooked. I did not bring it to the staff’s attention, but it seems like there are better options out there.

We stayed a couple days in South Beach recently and decided to try Taquiza. The street tacos were very good and I was very happy to get horchata, the perfect drink after a long bike ride, but the real star of our meal were the totopos. I've lived in California, New Mexico and Texas and never seen this dish, they're thicker than blue corn tortilla chips, kind of like corn cakes made of blue corn. I couldn't stop eating them they were so good, please, please will a restaurant in Nashville read this and start making them?

I saw great reviews on this taco chain so had to stop by to check it out. Ordered tacos and beers. I noticed that the floors are sticky and dirty restrooms never a good sign... The staff are friendly though. Now the food part, the lengua tacos were fair but the Al pastor was dry and bland. For the price they charge and good reviews I read,, i had high expectations and I was very disappointed.

This is a great place on Miami Beach. Excellent food and a great atmosphere. It's a bit pricey if you buy drinks, but the food is roughly 5 dollars a taco. Not bad without alcohol but it is a restraint on miami Beach, so no doubt the cost of operating is pretty high. It was definitely worth it. The tacos are stuffed full of your chosen fillings and definitely delicious. I eat a lot of food in my meals and one taco was enough for me. Will definitely be eating here next time in Miami.
