This is a cozy, charming pizzeria on the way to or from the beach. Sitting on an 15th Street adjacent alley connecting Collins with Ocean, it’s an adjunct to, and operated by the Betsy Hotel. Pizza is good, Roman style, thin and crunchy. Cold cut appetizers very savory and generous. Service courteous and attentive. Overall, very good experience. Got four stars (rather than five) because of the compulsory 20% service charge which, in addition to other taxes and MB surcharges, makes for an expensive meal.

wow, I stumbled into this place one in town for work. The food was great I had an amazing pizza that Gabrielle recommended. The size of the pie was large enough that I brought half back and gave it to the people working at the hotel I was staying at. Gabriel and everybody else were beyond friendly to the extent that he gave me his personal recommendations of where to wander about the city. Given how good his pizza recommendation I’m looking forward to trying them all out as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for some pizza or other Italian. Thanks again Gabriel and team.

I ask for the salumi y formaggi, and was sooo good, the roasted hazelnut w truffle honey was my fav part plus the bread and all the fresh cheeses, as a cocktail I ordered the ‘adriatique’ and as a dessert I tried the banana-misu which I highly recommend. All the staff was so nice, Gabriel and Tammy give us a perfect service, I’ll be back to try the pizzas for sure cause they look huge and tasty!!

It's back! A Covid-victim returns after much too long a break. It's The Alley, the Betsy Hotel's wonderfully casual pizza and more store. It's a cozy nook tucked into the alley between Collins Ave and Ocean Drive that offers great people-watching at the same time. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. The service is personal and great; Nicholas was our server who had great recommendations. I started with the Italian mojito, not overly sweet. My husband has the carajillo which I could have drunk all night. We shared the calamari friti and the arugula, fennel, avocado salad. The calamari came out piping hot and super crispy. I did want more of the delicate fennel on the salad. We also shared a white pizza topped with the mushrooms and onions recommended by our server. The crispy crust was perfect. And we saved room for the dessert. My husband especially enjoyed the banana-misu (too creamy for me). The simple vanilla ice cream with candied orange was best for me. Welcome back!

Some of the best pizza you can find in Miami Beach. We got the Italian Job salad, red pizza with onion and sausage, and banana-misu for dessert. Would come back and get the same order over and over again. The blood orange margarita was also a treat. Got an order of skinny margs and wouldn’t get those again, the lime felt a little off. Decor and lighting are top notch. Location is terrific. So thrilled to have this gem open again in Miami Beach.

The food and service were excellent. We are from Connecticut and we know good pizza (think Pepe’s New Haven ) Perfect thin crust with the right amount of spice. Salad was amazing with just enough garlic and lemon to balance flavors. Reasonable prices and fantastic service. Highly recommend and we will be back!!

I come to this location often with my family, and every SINGLE time we have at least 1 issue. The balls are always getting stuck when returning, and when you tell staff about the issue, they brush it off. We went for 1/31 cosmic bowling, and we encountered 3 issues: the ball return, the screens were glitching, and the ball return again. The week prior, my mother-in-law was using a six-pound ball. Percy walked by, snatched it up, and only said, “This is for children.” He doesn’t need to be smug, and he can ask why we are using it, which would be because of her arthritis. I spoke to Percy again, the supervisor, and he gave me attitude, again, saying it was my family’s fault. 1. In no way could it have been our fault when we were following the rules of when to go from the screen. 2. With the alley being the newest bowling alley, there should not be that many issues within 1.5 hours of bowling. When I went to Percy about some sort of compensation for our wasted time (these issues wasted 20 minutes combined of our bowling experience), I was offered a measly $5 arcade card. LMAO! When asking for the owners’ info, I was then given MORE ATTITUDE, which is completely unacceptable. I have never encountered someone with such little basic common sense on how to do their own job (which I’ve seen him working there for years).

They don’t even have pizza. The server was confused when I asked if they had pizza on the menu.

It seems it used to be an Italian inspired place. Now it’s a regular American menu. Crazy Overpriced. Food is average. Kind servers. I would not go back

Great staff, very good Italian style pizza and salads

Kid-friendliness: It’s pizza but with a great Italian twist. Not your Pizza Hut or dominos.
