Great place for breakfast! We went because we like the exterior and design of the hotel, and restaurant has great reviews.Everything met our expectations or even exceeded it. Food was delicious and nicely platted. Service by Daniel was fast and helpful - thank you :)We will come back if we will be around.Ps. In the evening there is live music, starting 6pm

Everyone's nice but this place is too expensive. $21 per liquor drink. Appetizers were very delicious but with built in charges you'll quickly spend $150.

Returned a year later for we always enjoy the atmosphere at the Betsy. The customer service was top notch, however once again one of the bartenders dropped the "F" bomb - not cool in an establishment like this. We're not prudes, but there is a place and time for this. Also, you probably should consider getting the bugs out of the lamps at the bar. Other than these items mentioned - we would come back! Always a wonderful time. Thank you

The Betsy is curated, almost a perfection. As you walk in, it feels like your own Living Room with a bar attached to it. The staff are extremely welcoming. We walked up to the roof top bar-pool and it had one of the most amazing views of miami. We just had drinks no food.

Daniel the server was awesome! Only had breakfast, but we will definitely stay here when we return to Miami. Adorable boutique hotel!

Old. Elevator is ancient, it is cool in one respect. Bldg & decor is outdated 100%. Old not in a gorgeous way. Interesting in one way. You cant even have normal tone conversations at 10pm in the room without Neighbor complaining. Security pounding on door as if a raging party was going on. Was not the case at all. Super bizarre. It was more scary security pounded on door. The "old tiny short doors", don't have double locks. We could hear neighbor sneeze like it was in the room. Staff is friendly. Located in old not so nice area. Beds had no top sheet just a duvet . Dated old fans. Old decor. Guest had a large dog on couch in lounge. Smells like cigars at entrance. Miami $600 hotels are like $200 hotels elsewhere, def overpriced 100%. Cost is very deceiving. Room pointing toward ocean is pointless, the windows are filthy and you cannot access a patio. Menu was decent. Popovers are great w a croissant type inner. Def a back in time feel at this venue, "think old Florida or Cuban vibes", from the 60's..

The check-in experience and actually ALL contact with personnel at the Betsy lets you know you've booked a classy hotel. In particular Sidd went above and beyond to get us into the perfect room for our week in Miami Beach. Kudos to the breakfast oatmeal too. Top notch!!

It was starting to rain so my friend & I went to The Betsy Hotel Lobby & discovered the Carlton Room Café. Char was a fabulous barista! We ordered PB Lattes-which were so delicious. With a cozy, eclectic feel--it was the perfect place to stumble upon.

The best happy hour on Ocean Drive. It’s actually the only civilized place for a cocktail and nibbles on Ocean Drive since Meet Dahlia went totally, cheap, tourist trap. The happy hour is early, starting at 3:30 PM. The bartenders are professional and the cocktails and wine selection is good. The black cod tacos are excellent. The other happy hour appetizers are ok, such as the guacamole and spicy tuna roll (the laterof which had a faint taste of cigarette ash). The atmosphere is quite nice, especially when they have live music. It’s worth the stop if you are looking for a place that is a non-tourist trap on Ocean Drive.

Enjoyed our stay at the Betsy. The staff was excellent. Fritzner at the front desk in particular took terrific care of us.

I am not sure how to convey our appreciation and gratitude towards the entire staff at the Betsy Hotel without making this a dissertation; however, if anyone is looking to have an amazing experience on South Beach in Miami, I would highly suggest staying at the Betsy Hotel. From the location, the ambiance, to the initial greeting by Juan at the front door, to the team at the front desk, the reservations manager, the bar staff, and everyone that you would interface with is simply amazing! The leadership at this hotel is very fortunate to find and retain a great team of professionals! This has become our south beach home!
