Cocktail bar in the Freehand Hotel, very nice courtyard outside area. Quite a good selection of cocktails, which were tasty but not quite complete. Quite expensive for that. You had to get the drinks yourself at the bar, they weren't brought to the table, but a 20% gradient was automatically added to the bill. For what? It doesn't work at all.

The food is amazing along with the drinks, but let me tell you about Jose...the absolute MVP of the bar and hospitality. I unexpectedly found myself alone in miami beach, and was staying at the hotel attached, which is equally as worth it, but focus....this is about jose....he made me feel right at home, and made me three of the best Pina coladas I've ever had, without a blender or that particular thing on the menu. I asked about portions of food, and he was right on for how hungry I was, and even recommended places for me to go after as I was there for the first time. 20/10 for value and experience...good people and fabulous food and drinks

If you need recs on great places to go for experiences or food — ask for Jose at the salt & shaker bar you won’t regret it. Dude really knew how to cater his recommendations to things I like! Highly recommend!
