Fantastic service. Very thoughtful staff and ready to accommodate any requests. The food was nothing short of fantastic as well, freshness of the fish and precision of flavors, don't expect futile torch shows and tons of spicy mayo, this place of for the initiated.

There are so many amazing omakase restaurants and this is one I've heard nothing but great reviews on. I've been to all of them and I had a feeling this would be incredible. When you spend over $750 for a couple, (not drinking wine or anything aggressive) and multiple of the omakase dishes are just bland. It was a very basic, low level dinner. If I had spent $150 on the dinner, then 5 stars for food and value. Not once was I wow'd at any dish or experience. There was no interaction with the servers or chefs giving any type of experience. The setting was amazing, drinks were great, servers were on point. But an absolute let down experience in terms of their omakase unfortunately. The best thing about the entire night is they put your name on the paper menu, that alone may have been worth the $750 we spent.

Overrated and overpriced. Such an odd location and dull ambiance as well.

The Den at Azabu offers an exquisite dining experience that exemplifies culinary artistry. The Sakizuke appetizer and Owan soup set the tone with delicate and balanced flavors. The Yakimono, a grilled fish dish, was perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and moist interior, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. The Nigiri selection featured fresh, expertly sliced fish atop seasoned rice, highlighting the skill of the sushi chef. Each dish was a work of art, celebrating the essence of Japanese cuisine. Overall, The Den at Azabu impresses with exceptional food and impeccable service.

Excellent omakase experience: gorgeous private dining room laid out in a U shaped sushi counter so everyone has a great view watching the chefs prepare their dishes. Carefully selected cocktail and sake menu paired beautifully with the outstanding sushi. The service was exceptional as well. We felt like it was very good sized portions and were quite full so we co spider that to be a great value. We will definitely return.

Highly acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant offers authentic omakase experience. Fish are flown in from Japan several times weekly to ensure only the freshest and finest ate served. The omakase is flawless from the beginning to the end. It was truly a delightful experience!

Only had time for one omakase in miami during my trip but very glad it was the den. Some traditional and some non-traditional pieces from omakase. This isnt the most nigiri focused omakase at all so expect more kaiseki dishes mixed in with the meal. More than your fair share of dishes.

The skin of the butterfish is overcooked. I was still starving after having two add-ons. I had omakase in this restaurant twice. The first experience was fantastic. The second one was nice, but the food is not as delicious as before.

This is absolutely the best Omakase I have ever had. I have been to Omakase in Hong Kong, New York, and Philadelphia, and this one, the Den has the best food, service, and environment. If you want to have an experience of Omakase, choose this!

The Den is Miami's Omakase gold standard. Excellent fish from Japan expertly prepared by Chef Atsushi Okawara and his team. We've been regulars for 3 years now and love it every time. A very well deserved Michelin star!

The Den offers an exquisite omakase experience, blending traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a dash of modern flair. Each dish is a masterpiece, featuring the freshest seasonal ingredients and presented with meticulous attention to detail. The intimate setting allows for engaging interactions with the chefs, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.
