Nice enough spot but ice cream was real bad. Flavor was off, got an ice chunk in it and clearly a lot of tubs icing over.

I come there just about every week to order a pint of ice cream, however I do not like how I was treated by an unfriendly cashier (Kian). He wanted to charge me almost $16 for a pint and small cake cones, when it’s only $10.99. I shared that I have been rang up by multiple people (including the owner), and they do not charge extra for cake cones when I order the pint. He stood firm on his No, and I returned the ice cream & he refunded my order. Poor service. I will take my business elsewhere.

I've been going to The Frieze since its original days on 5th street. The service ice cream are always top notch.

Lactose intolerant? This is the place to go! Lots of dairy free choices. My favorite was the highly recommended Peanut Butter Sorbet! Unbelievable, feels like you’re eating real ice cream. Hands down best sorbet ever! Excellent cheerful service!! Generous servings!

This place used to be magical and I think now they're under new ownership and it sucks. Super expensive for freezer burned ice cream. The quality just isn't there anymore. I'm so sad.

This place was my absolute favorite ice cream place in Miami. Anywhere in Miami. They have not been on their game of late. Did they change owners? The freezers for self serve pints are nearly empty - consistently. The quality of the product is not what it was, I think, but I may just be imagining. I really would like to know if they are in the same ownership as pre-pandemic.

The most disgusting Ice Cream in the world. I promise. Bought three ice creams for my kids. They all hated it. They were complaining of a powdery sandy texture. I confirmed, just imagine chocolate powder not fully dissolved. This is a shameful establishment for serving something like this. It cost me $20 for three ice creams. We tossed them on the garbage and went to haagen daz. It’s disgusting ice cream. Money in the garbage literally.

Great ice cream and it’s kosher!

Super excellent ice cream, but painfully small scoops. Great location right next to Lincoln mall in South Beach.

Sadly, this feels like the first time that the Yelp community gave great reviews for a TERRIBLE experience. The "ice cream" was more like flavored frozen water. It literally had the consistency of sorbet, NOT a creamy ice cream. I should have followed my instinct when I looked at the flavors on displayed and every container had ice cream with ice crystals on the surface...making it appear that these had been there for some time. To top it off, the portions were puny. Each scoop was slightly larger than a golf ball. All for just over $7!

2nd ice creams of the year and so had to make is a good un. Outstanding.

Giving it a 2 as I feel every year we keep going worse quality ingredients, smaller portions, and now the hours are awful. Store was closed before 10pm and must have been a group of 10 others at least outside that walked up and were shocked. Will try again next weekend but for now, I Scream Gelato which is a few blocks away and open until 11:30pm.

The flavors were basic and the scoops were the size of a golf ball. The picture you see is supposed to be 2 scoops. I barely ate any before taking the pic. My choice was butter pecan. The sugar cones were made fresh but very thin. Had to ask for a cup to put my cone inside. The cone was good so 2 stars is given. Don't look for any big scoops here. The trip is not worth it or the $7 they charged. If you're hot and need something cool, 7-11 will show more love than this place.
