Located on the upper floor of the timeout market. I had the mapu tofu with rice which was yummy and satisfying (and spicy). Some of the dishes are not written on the menu board so check the online menu. Everything in the market is kinda pricey, this one wasn't the worst.
Time Out Market was extremely crowded during the weekends. Tried The Rogue Panda on the 5th floor and the food was quite nice. Tried the dan dan noodles, mapo tofu, pork dumplings and shiitake truffle fried rice. The pork dumplings were excellent and I love the firm texture of the dan dan noodle.
When I stopped by Time Out Market on a tour during my trip to New York, we each had time to eat, so I ordered Dantanmen. The seasoning was very salty. Haha. All the ingredients and sauce were already made and fried. As I was about to finish eating them, the plastic shell of the ingredients came out, so I ate it all and showed it to the staff.
