It’s really a shame that this place gave up being vegan. The guy at the counter could not have been nicer in explaining what is vegan or can be made vegan now that they serve all kinds of meat. The food (steamed dumplings) was pretty good, but overall it was a disappointing experience. The containers are a vestige of the past. Sigh.

Rogue Panda in Time Out Market Brooklyn is a bustling spot, especially on a Sunday afternoon around lunchtime! Be prepared for the crowds and a potential 20-30 minute wait, with lines forming at almost every stall (and even the restrooms!). While the egg fried rice with chicken I ordered was decent – served hot and a good portion – I've definitely had better.
