The ambiance was amazing. The service was very slow. The sea bass had good flavor but was not hot. We sent one of the sides that was also cold and it came out cold again so we weren't charged for it. If the good was hot and the server didn't make us feel like we were being held hostage waiting for him, I would have given this 5 stars.
In the table next to us there was a table with 8 US male people who shouted and laughed in a crazy way, very very loud, very unpolite and disturbing
Beautiful location off the beach. Truffle pizza great. Scallops and prawns delicious. Service excellent.
I'm sick and tired of these overpriced restaurants, especially here in Miami Beach that think they are special, when the menus are the same boring menu one sees at 90% of all the other establishments up and down the street! Don't have wines on your menu that can be found at Walmart for $18 a bottle and charge $85 dollars for it! If you can't serve the food hot when the kitchen/grill is 20 feet away from the table, something is seriously wrong with your processes! Of course you're going to remove that item that gets sent back because it's ice cold on the plate, but nothing else??? $250 for a salad, one entree, two sides and three glasses of cheap wine! No thank you. Really taking the fun out of dining out! Our food at home is way better and much more enjoyable. But I guess we don't have the ambiance of a swanky place filled with unsuspecting and unsophisticated “beautiful” people that need more content for their social media feeds! They say that a fool and his/her money will be quickly parted, and all these “it” places here in South Beach are definitely examples of that! You can all keep it!
This was our first time dining at Ocean Grill and we will be back every time we visit south beach. The food and service was incredible and had a wonderful time ... such a great spot with an incredible view of the beach! Enjoy!!
We had to wait 50 mins for our server to come to our table and take our food order!! We ate dinner and it took a total of 2.5 hours. We had to consistently ask someone to bring our server over when we needed something. When we did order our food came out pretty quickly. We watched our server and he kept just walking around. At the end when we got our Cheque he tried to charge us for a whole bottle of wine instead of a glass. Really wanted to enjoy this special dinner with my mom however it was ruined pretty quickly with the lack of service
After going to Jaya weeks prior, and having a phenomenal experience we had to try Ocean Grill. My friend and I went for their Miami Spice menu, 3 courses, $45, couldn't beat it. It was honestly a complete different ambiance. Oceanside, open breezy air, beautifully elegant lighting, classy simplistic lighting. The wait staff was actually much better here as well. I was a tad underwhelmed by the menu options as well as what I actually got. Nevertheless, the food was delicious. I huge salad as an appetizer, Liolini with clams as an entree and a reconstructed key lime pie that was literally the star of the night. Needless to say both Ocean Grill as well as Jaya at the Setai were both hits in my book and I would definitely be coming back in the future. I would also recommend that you try both for yourselves. ♥️
We always love eating at Ocean Grill. Not only does it have a beautiful view of the water, but the ambiance inside the restaurant is stunning at night! The food is delicious and well presented — and the service is excellent!! Once again, we had another fun family celebration at this wonderful place.
We had a fantastic dinner here last evening ! Just walking into the Setai Hotel itself is a dramatic experience as the decor is amazing .. then you walk back to the Ocean Grill where the whole staff coddles you with exceptional service .. great to book a special birthday or big life milestone event

Excellent food. I had the whole oven roasted Brazinni that melted in my mouth! My wife had homemade ravioli in a cream you had homemade ravioli and cream sauce that were to die for. Had both crème brûlée and mixed berry crisp with ice cream which were delish. Enjoyed French Chardonnay picked with the help of the wine somalia. Fabulous meal!!!
we celebrated our anniversary and enjoyed the Miami Spice menu. our server was wonderful and gave us a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate and we were greeted with a lovely note from the Setai. We love it here and will visit again!
We ordered off the miami spice menu for lunch and being they offer it . We felt some sort of shame coming from our waiter when we ordered for that particular menu... he made a comment even when he served us like oh so can u take your order .. for the miami spice menu and kinda snarky smirked . Just felt rude . But other than that . Great food and love the ambiance
It is one of the 2 or 3 places to visit with this quality in the area. The ambience is very suitable for dinner. The cuisine is rich, the wine selections are really good. I congratulate Hakan Balkuvvar on this matter. Mushroom risotto was amazing.

We really liked the Miami spice dinner menu. I had delicious oysters and asked them to have a salad from the appetizers as my main dish instead of the choices offered. They accommodated and we had a lovely dinner. My husband really liked the yellowfin tuna which was an additional $8 but worth it for the portion size. The ambiance is lovely and romantic as it faces the ocean and our server was super nice. The MS price is $45 for dinner, well worth it and with one drink each and tip we spent around $180. The key-lime pie was delicious.
