We came to Ocean Grill for Thanksgiving and unfortunately had one of the worst service experiences I've had in Miami—and that's saying something. We had reservations for a table for four made well in advance, but were seated at two high-top tables by a leaky window. The tables were spread so far apart that our party couldn't comfortably talk to each other. When I book a proper table for four, I don't expect to be split up like that. Service was the real problem. It took over 45 minutes just to get water. Getting a second drink didn't happen until after we were basically done eating. We ended up pouring our own water most of the night because our server was nowhere to be found. And this didn't improve even after the restaurant slowed down and half the room had emptied out. It felt like they were either severely understaffed or simply not paying attention. I've been to Ocean Grill several times before and always found the service stellar, which made this visit especially disappointing. The food itself was excellent, but portions have definitely gotten smaller, and the overall experience didn't match the price point. It was also extremely noisy—so loud that it was hard to hear the person next to you, which really took away from the evening. Maybe we just had a bad table, but it was not a pleasant environment for a holiday dinner. On top of that, the automatic service charge stings when the service is this poor. I live in Miami and I'm used to high prices, but I'd honestly suggest looking elsewhere if you value good service for what you're spending. I used to recommend Ocean Grill; after this experience, I'm not sure I can anymore.

Love the outdoor vibe and the atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was disappointing, bland and very overpriced. The service was so slow. We were there for over two hours because we waited so long for everything.

Love the Ocean Grill! It was a cool evening with a gentle breeze. So, the ambience was wonderful. The food and drink were outstanding. We started with Margherita flatbread, eggplant parmesan, and grilled octopus for a party of 8. All delicious. For the entrees, we had branzino x 2, tuna steak x 2, spicy rigatoni, and cacao e Pepe. Everything was cooked to perfection, well seasoned, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. We finished with key lime pie and tiramisu. The dessert portions were disappointingly small but very tasty. Ocean Grill is one of our favorites places in MB!

My order of a burger was very disappointing. Asked for medium well - got well done. Poor quality bread and fell apart easily. For the $25 plus price I expect perfection. I didn't make a fuss because I had guests. Very poorly done.

We had the cauliflower appetizer which was good if you like cauliflower. The green sesame sauce was good. We had the ceasar salad with seared tuna and the tuna Niçoise salads. They were good but small for an entree and the presentation could have been a lot better on the salads. The ambience was great, quiet, relaxing and romantic. We went for lunch. Would return for the ambiance. It was an open air restaurant in case you are expecting an air conditioned restaurant.

we arrived for dinner service at 9 PM on Sunday the 26th. It was my fiancé‘s birthday and I had made a note on the reservation that we were celebrating on that day. It took several minutes for the server to arrive. We received our sparkling waters that we ordered within a few minutes and we order two glasses of Pinot Grigio, which came up pretty quickly, but the server did not acknowledge her birthday at any time at this point. He offered us some bread which he brought out pretty quickly, but the bread was dry, stale, and not appetizing at all between the time he dropped the bread and the time he returned to take or order for dinner was about 15 minutes. I thought that was odd and a little bit off. However, we did order a Greek salad which was split, which came out pretty quickly, and I ordered the lamb and she ordered the salmon . Both came out pretty quickly and was quite tasty. However, even during this point the server did not acknowledge her birthday. It's when we mentioned that we wanted a dessert. I had to let him know that we are celebrating her birthday and it was on the reservation when we made it at that point he acknowledged her birthday, tried to recover by bringing us complementary champagne. The meal went by pretty quickly and the time spent at the restaurant was OK but I think the overall service was a little bit, lacking based on previous reviews and expectations we had before we arrived to the restaurant

Outstanding food and drinks. Only negative was the invasion of flies as soon as the food arrived. I would recommend NOT sitting on the window as it was a tremendous negative on what was otherwise an outstanding experience
The setting is very nice at night. Food is average. Our server was poor. It was obvious she catered to regulars while giving what was only necessary service to others. One time visit for my wife and I - too many other quality restaurants for us to go to then to make a repeat visit to this one.

Staff was not paying attention. 3 ppl asked if I wanted water, I said yes, flat tap 3x, but never got it. Until I failed the server to get me water and they gave me Setai water abd charged me. Then they take forever to notice we want the check, then they take forever to retrieve my card for payment. Nobody on staff looks up, look up and scan the tables to see who needs help. Always there head is down, looking at their phones or the staff socializing with each other not paying attention. But I'll come back again

Was a great experience. My boyfriend and I celebrate his birthday and we choise the Miami Spicy Menu. Was wonderful, very romantic, good service, excellent food and an amazing place. Just a little warm, but everything was perfect.
