Via Emília 9 is always a great idea. Homey, with a team that welcomes you, and a menu that is straightforward and delicious. The in-house made pasta is wonderful. The vegetables are fresh, as well as ingredients.

Wonderful and authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of South Beach. Hand made pasta, friendly staff, and extensive menu makes Emilia 9 my top pick when visiting the beach. We started with the affetati and gnocco fritto followed by the risotto special of the day. We needed our meal with espresso and affagoto...amazing all around. The decor is incredibly charming. Delightful ambiance. 5 stars across the board.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and the food and service didn't disappoint. Their pasta can compete against some of the best in south beach. I was a little skeptical of the location but once inside it's very authentic. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the music was so irritating ~loud Spanish rap (on a Wednesday) that completely took away from the beautiful Italian charm of the restaurant. I really hope the music gets sorted as I'd love to go back.
