I went with my husband and new baby thinking we would just have a quick glass of wine, but we ended up staying for food and a custom wine flight. Filip’s knowledge and passion led to a fun and memorable experience. Everything was wonderful- the wine, the service, the attention to detail. We can’t wait to go back. I’d highly recommend Water Lion for anything from a special romantic evening, catching up with friends or even tucking in on your own for a reprieve from the world outside.

A diamond in the rough - this place was a standout. Incredibly high quality service, the wine was amazing, and the charcuterie board was delicious. Easily the best place we tried in Miami Beach!

Easily the highlight of our vacation. Whether you’re a hardcore wine geek or someone who simply likes to have a good time, you’ll feel at home here.
Josh and Abby perfectly toe the line between creating a boundary-pushing wine program (think: Georgian sparkling and Uruguayan dessert wines) and extremely accessible and warm hospitality. In fact, every bartender we met on our trip seemed to hold this team in the highest regard. The food leans towards bites like oysters and charcuterie, all of which is top-notch. You won’t find another spot like this in Miami Beach. Can’t wait to return.

I came to Water Lion after reading some great reviews about this bar. I have lived in Miami almost 50 years. This bar, is without a doubt absolutely outstanding. Joshua and Filip will make you feel as if you are on a long flight in First Class to Dubai. The drinks are superb. The devil eggs with Truffle were beyond delicious. A once in a lifetime. Do not miss coming to this bar. You will feel in heaven.

A hidden gem! Best wine selection on the beach and Joshua, Filip and Abby make anyone who walks in feel at home. This place will have you breathing a sigh of relief, laughing all night and leaving with a smile. Drinks are great but the food is not to be ignored either. Perfect for a date night— must go!!
