I was here in September. My reservation was at 6:30pm, and I’ll tell you, it’s the best time because this restaurant is on the rooftop, and it’s very beautiful. By the time you take a few pictures, they’ll bring your food, and you can enjoy an incredible meal during the sunset. I had the spicy tuna roll and chicken dumplings, and it was unbelievably delicious. The ingredients are high-quality, and the dishes are prepared to perfection. Thank you to the staff for the excellent service—I’m impressed! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. You’re the best, and I wish you continued success! Thank you for being here!

One of my fav rooftops at South Beach! It is nicer during sunset, but we were late and missed it this time. We had spicy tuna roll and frozen margarita with tajin. Even they did not have frozen margarita, Melissa was able to make it for us. She is friendly and has very nice attitude ❤️

Brought all of the appetizers and entrees at once within 5 min of ordering (even the miso black cod). All of the fish in the rolls was super fishy and the cod was incredibly salty. We let the waiter know how salty and inedible the miso cod is and he simply took it away (without removing it from the bill). Overall 1/5 experience.

We went to the rooftop with some friends for dinner and they told us that we needed to have a passport to have a drink, which was not enough with a physical ID. I've never heard anything like it. Pathetic.
The restaurant is quite charming, however, the food is pricey for its quality. I ended up paying $36 before tax just for a sandwich. If you happen to be a hotel guest, you can dine by the pool, but keep in mind, there is an obligatory 19% tip added to your bill.

What can we say about WATR at the Rooftop...
The setting is very pleasant, with a friendly atmosphere and current music that follows the trends. However, the service leaves something to be desired. The wait to receive your order is extremely long, dishes are forgotten, and some servers adopt an unpleasant and condescending tone (fortunately, this is not the case for all). In addition, the glasses and cutlery are poorly cleaned.
As for the quality of the dishes, it is also disappointing. Considering the prices charged, the dishes lack flavor and finesse. The cocktails, too, are just passable.
In conclusion, WATR at the Rooftop tries to give itself the appearance of a trendy restaurant with a pleasant setting, but given the targeted standard, the service and the quality of the food are clearly not up to par.
