“I went in to get a Powerball ticket and I wanted something to eat and I was going to go to McDonald's and then I realized they have a small restaurant here. If you’re ever leaving a concert or game at Hard Rock Stadium and find yourself hungry, Quickies is the spot. This place stays open late and hits the mark every single time. The atmosphere is simple—just a few tables—but don’t let that fool you. Some of the best food in South Florida comes from places just like this.

They’ve got everything: burgers, seafood, wings, conch… you name it. The prices are more than reasonable, and they run great specials during the day and at night. I’ve seen lunch combos as low as nine bucks with a drink, which is almost unheard of these days.

For anyone trying to stay on the lighter side, they even offer salads and can cook things non-fried on request. But if you do go fried, let me tell you—the fried conch is on another level. Tenderized perfectly, fried in clean oil, and absolutely addictive. As you can see in the picture, it’s easily some of the best around.

By the way, the whole fried fish I think it’s snapper is unbelievable. You can also add other things to it like fried shrimp with it or Conch or any other item and it comes with a lot of fries right up your alley guys don’t miss out. They also have a location in Dania.

I was not disappointed the food is good I had the catfish and shrimp combo platter came with fries coleslaw and a drink! I also ordered hush puppies and they were soo tasty! “I just ordered pizza delivered from my local Hungry Howie's tonight. It was the first time I've tried the restaurant and I was very pleased. I ordered a large Hungry Howie's Maui pizza with a garlic butter crust and one medium Philly cheesesteak pizza. They were both delicious. The cheese on the Philly cheesesteak pizza was thick and melty, and the meat was tasty. The Maui pizza had a generous amount of toppings, with just the right ratio of cheese and the crust was flavorful without being overwhelming. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly-a little crispy on the edges but not burnt. The delivery was also A+-the pizza got here exactly at the estimated time -about 20 minutes or so after I placed my order-and it was nice and hot when it arrived. My family and I really enjoyed the pizzas and I will definitely be ordering from Hungry Howie's again.“

For a place that doesn't stand out, the food was awesome. I had the shrimp and couch, and my wife had the Fried Snapper Macaroni and cheese with roasted potatoes. Everything was season just right.“
