The place doesn't look like much from the outside. Sat on deck. Our server was very attentive giving suggestions from the menu. Food was excellent. The alligator bites in the salad was excellent. Would highly recommend this place.
I searched Google Maps for “home cooking near me” and found this place. I ordered the classic chicken breast with fried okra and sweet potato casserole. The waiter was friendly and waited on me as soon as I sat down. The food came out about 10-minutes after I ordered. Everything was delicious. My meal was less than $14, which I thought was reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant.

The food was good but a little expensive for the amount you get. The waffles are good, but warning, they already sweet without syrup. I didn't care for the cap n crunch cereal French toast that much but my son liked it. Food came out pretty quick and our waiter was very nice and timely.
