The new name is TEMPO. From the moment you walk in the service is outstanding ! I gave 4 stars on food simply because they were out of a few items on the menu, but the chef substituted it with a complimentary appetizer, so that was great ! Kuddos to the staff, EVERY ONE WAS SO ATTENTIVE. Wishing you the best with the new name, we will be back !

My dining experience was non existent because I showed up and the restaurant is permanently closed. I'm very disappointed that that Open table still has this restaurant on the app.

Food was hit and miss. Amazing guacamole and mexican corn. Beautiful presentations of the food and lovely service, nice atmosphere. The tortilla soup tasted more like a minestrone than a true tortilla soup. The tuna tostadas had big chunks of tuna that we did not care for- a miss. Food was often too heavy on lemon.

This was a lovely experience. The service, ambiance, and food were outstanding. The menu is Mexican-American fare with much of it prepared in their Josper wood burning oven. There is something for every taste beginning with the ever-popular roasted cauliflower with goat cheese and crimini bechamel; Josper salad (easily the best salad in Miami) prepared with baby gem romaine, and roasted garlic dressing; a selection of tacos (especially the shrimp chorizo with avocado mousse); and crunchy corn crusted sea bass in lime consomme as an entree. Desserts are limited to a few standards. I am looking forward to going back and trying everything else.

We just enjoyed an amazing brunch at MAIA Restaurant today following a fabulous meal the night before. The coffee is Cuban strong and delicious, their version of chicken & waffles is fantastic and their Heuvos Divorciados is sublime. The adult beverages the night before (dark rum smoked old fashioned) were chock full of awesomeness, too. Sprinkle in their cool Miami vibe and warm hospitality for us Americanos and it adds up to a place in the Coral Gables, FL area that we'll always remember!

While the food was really good, they had very concerning problems, out of 8 appetizers, they were out of 2 of them. Waitress kept saying let me check if we have and then take 10minutes to return. Then we ordered a whole snapper, presentation was fantastic but fish was raw, not undercooked but raw, she apologized and took it back, 5 minutes later she came back to tell us they ran out of snapper so we had to chose another fish out of the other 5 entrees. Problem is it was Saturday at 8pm (busiest day for dinner and you don't have 3 plates out of a very limited menu?). The manager (I believe) did apologize and gave us a 20% discount which was nice, but at that point we just wanted to leave. We probably will go back but they need to address these serious flaws.

We ate a group of girls from school that just love to eat. We sit at long tables and ask a million questions. They were courteous patient and got only one plate wrong Small portions tasty and interesting . Their drink menu warrants a try. It's in a hotel so it was quiet that night but seems like a great spot for groups.

I really like this restaurant. I will give it 5 starts but still have some dishes that are not amazing and chips are too greasy. The place is beautiful and has great service as well

We truly enjoyed dinner at Maia's Taco Tuesday was unexpected and truly enjoyable. Those allergic to fish should watch out for that “Pastor” taco which is typically prepared with pork.

This is a place to go if you enjoy extremely loud music blasting while you eat and try to speak/yell to the person next to you. It is a nicely decorated restaurant inside the ALoft hotel. We had brunch, guacamole with fresh chips that were very tasty, a sweet board which was also very good including muffins, homemade granola, sliced fruits, and danish which were very tasty. The salads were ok, kind of tasteless no pizzaz and plain lemon dressing. The breakfast with eggs, ham and chorizo, potatoes and toast was quite good but at $24 was expensive. The tacos were tasteless and the fava beans did nothing to the plate. The cocktails were excellent and the mixologist came to our table which was nice. We were a large group and one of the meals was not ordered, that person ate after we all were done. We had complained to manager several times (more than 6 times) about the dj and the dj ignored the complaints totally. There was a live saxophonist which was quite nice but the dumb dj out blasted his playing. The manager was advised of our issues and did adjust our bill but the extremely loud music and lack of food taste made this a one-timer place for us.

The food and drinks are amazing. Music was very nice however it could be loud for some people. Portions for brunch can be larger. Can't comment about dinner portions haven't been there for dinner. Hoping to be back soon to try dinner.

Great hidden gem in the Gables off of Le Jeune Rd. Staff is very knowledgeable and service oriented. A great Mixologist one of the best in the Gables. Great DJ sounds on Saturday night. I recommend to those that have seen the other side of the Central Gables. Small bar area but a decent size lounge area off the bar for great conversation.

Food was amazing. But options are extremely limited in my opinion. Entree are extremely expensive for an ALoft Hotel restaurant. Drinks were amazing as well and super creative couple of more suggestions would be awesome as well.

This was my third time at Maia House. Every time I receive exceptional service. It's hard for them to tell you no to something. The whole staff is just great. I have many compliments for both the chef and the head mixologist. They create such incredible master pieces. The drinks here are out of this world and so unique. Everything is a show and an experience. I love coming here. I hope one day the brunch on Sundays turns into some sort of buffet style Mexican experience.

Everything was great except for the DJ that started playing disco a half hour after we arrived for our 7:30pm reservation.Fine dining shouldn't be interrupted with dance music. Restaurants that go this route rarely last very long.
