What a fantastic wine bar. We came after having had dinner tonight because we wanted some decent wine at affordable prices. Bacco did not disappoint! We had a Petit Manou Medoc and 2011 Mironia Ribera del Duero, each around$15-16, what a steal even factoring in the corkage fee. I have been driving by the restaurant everyday for a couple of weeks. Until finally decided to come in for dinner. The space was ample, yet the ambiance was cozy. Wow! What an unexpectedly pleasant surprise this was. The restaurant has a rather different concept, where you select your wine along the side (very well priced btw) and only pay a small corking fee, to enjoy the bottle. Ambiance is beautiful. We went on a Friday night and they had a lovely live guitar player. They have walls full of wine and the prices are grocery store type of prices, plus $10 for drinking it there, which is way cheaper than at other restaurants. The octopus appetizer was spectacular. The service was great. Kachi, our server, was very focused on our experience and the success of the restaurant.
