What a fantastic place! Seafood and atmosphere were great, perfect for birthdays or a relaxing night out. We received extremely attentive and friendly service from the staff. Special shout out to Don who went above and beyond coordinating a gifted bottle of wine for us.
We plan ahead our Saturday early dinner to visit this restaurant after reading a review about a list of the oldest restaurants in Miami, my son and I pick this restaurant, we arrive around 5 pm , the restaurant is pretty dark and the Decor seems stock in time , in a good way , the host was nice a gave us a nice table on the side of the bar , next to a fish tank , and it was a little be of ambiance, it seems to be crowded by loyal costumers and off course, you can perceive how...
Our dining experience at Captains Tavern was supreme! Good places like this are hard to come by. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are dining in a real captain's ship. The food is unlike any other seafood place in the area. With fresh ingredients and good recipes this location is a true hidden gem!! 10/10 would definitely recommend.
