Casablanca on the river Reviews
This place used to have the freshest fish in town. I visited recently they did not have Yellowtail snapper but they were offering Red Snapper a fish that is not available in South Florida not even in the Florida Keys due to regulations.
This is a must go to every time we visit Miami!!

Casablanca on the River offers a pleasant dining experience with a beautiful waterfront view, which is its main attraction. The atmosphere is nice and the presentation of the food is good, creating an inviting environment for guests. The menu features seafood dishes such as fried calamari, Paella Casablanca, Jumbo Shrimp Al Ajillo Style, fried branzino, baked snapper, crab cake, smoked fish dip, crab stuffed shrimp, and grilled grouper with lemon butter. While some dishes like the Paella Casablanca and crab dishes are praised for their flavor, others like the fried calamari and seafood in general are considered average or lacking seasoning. The fries and scampi sauce received positive comments, but some seafood, like octopus and squid, was described as plain and chewy.
Service quality varies; some servers are attentive and friendly, but others are less so, with reports of inattentiveness and poor communication, including overcharging and lack of transparency regarding gratuity and drink choices. The experience can be affected by these inconsistencies. Parking and valet services are noted as overpriced, adding to the overall cost.
Overall, Casablanca on the River is appreciated for its ambiance and view, making it a good spot for a relaxing evening. However, the food is generally seen as decent but not exceptional, and the service can sometimes fall short. Visitors often choose to return primarily for the scenic setting rather than for the culinary experience.
