I'm disappointed by the consistent lack of quality in the café con leche served at Casavana Coral Reef. Despite multiple attempts, whether I've requested it strong or dark, in English or Spanish, I've only received what can be described as slightly flavored milk. It's frustrating that in a city like Miami, renowned for its Cuban coffee culture, finding a reliably good café con leche is such a challenge.I urge establishments like Casavana to ensure that their staff operating espresso machines are knowledgeable and at least semi-passionate about coffee, capable. Perhaps a simple test of presenting a cup of milk to potential hires and asking if they would serve it to a customer could help ensure better quality control.Unfortunately, my recent experiences lead me to conclude that Casavana has been consistently failing to deliver a satisfactory café con leche.

Listen. The food is great, the prices are high though.But this is not the reason why they get one star. They let people come to their restaurant, get a coffee, then sit down outside by the to go window. For hours at a time and then they smoke cigarettes blowing it my direction, and leer at customers at the to go window. Because if COVID-19 and as a woman I wonder why cant they just get their food and go? They let folk order at to go windows who don't wear covering, grinning. I saw some guy coming from the back and his mask was on his mouth but off his nose.I was was so hungry I was shaking, and walked away.Turned me off.Edit- I had to return back food because the eggs were burnt, they refused to remake it this time. And the empanada meat tasted very old. I got a refund, and the cashier was very immature

I don't understand. Help me understand. I've gone to the Miami Lakes Casavana a number of times. Everytime I eat there I ask for them to split the food in the kitchen. They say there's a surcharge of like $2 or something like that. And I'm fine with that because what they do is actually give a little it more food. A whole extra side of rice and whatever other side you have. They just split the protein down the middle and basically put it on another plate for you. That's how I split the food with my kids But today at the Casavana in Coral Ridge, they basically didn't know what that was and that they didnt do that. I asked for a manager but the server basically offered to sell me a whole side of rice and no splitting in the kitchen. I said no because it would be too expensive for each extra side and not even splitting it in the kitchen like Miami Lakes. Basically my kids and I ate less. I don't understand if it's the same owners, same business, it's not even a franchise, that the server didn't know.

It's a shame that the service is not good, it's a boring place, the employees are somewhat arrogant and unpleasant.They take a long time to serve customers and they don't even give you bread so you can wait for the food.I do not recommend it

While the food at this place is undeniably delicious, the repeated errors in fulfilling orders have become a persistent issue. Despite being a regular customer, every order over the past year or so has been marred by missing items or, in today's case, a complete mix-up of orders. I've tried reaching out directly to bring attention to these problems, but unfortunately, there hasn't been any improvement. It's bothersome to encounter such consistent issues, and I hope the establishment takes steps to enhance their order accuracy and overall customer experience.
