This is one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. We saw there was a location in Miami where we are going for a trip and was so excited! We called ahead to reserve a table for 6 adults and 3 children. We appreciate they were able to accommodate our son plus our friends 2 kids. The whole vibe of the dinner though was disappointing. Nothing like the service we received on multiple visits to the NYC location. The server although somewhat polite, seemed annoyed and curt with us. We assume it's because we had children? But if children are not welcome, they should not have said it was ok while making the reservation. I'm also currently pregnant and asked about non alcoholic options. He said they could probably make something for us. But never asked again the entire meal until I requested an option from a different server. Our waters were also not refilled. The restaurant was only half filled but the service for the food was extremely slow. We started at 6 and by 830 we were still waiting for our dishes. We ended up having to cancel the last courses and leave by 9ish. All the courses were delicious as usual except for the foie gras dish which was very very salty and difficult to eat even spread on the toast provided. I've never left foie on the table, this would be the first. The meal wasn't so horrible, but we all agreed this particular servers attitude just made us feel very unwelcome and set the tone for a negative experience at the restaurant. Our bill btw was just under $3k with a $440 mandatory 20% gratuity

I was really looking forward to seeing this place and trying the tasting menu and caviars. Because my schedule was limited I could not go back to the hotel and change into dress clothes. However me and my guest arrived early and took a seat outside. I had a dress shirt on with swim shorts. As this is miami we came from the beach. My guest was dressed in casual clothes. We asked for a table on the outside away from everyone. It's inside the hallway but outside the resteraunt.We were thirsty from walking so I walked inside to ask for water and was met with the manager who told me the he is refusing to serve me and I had to leave. I do not know why he was so upset or so rude but it was uncalled for. I came there to enjoy a unique meal with my guest and was treated unfairly.I don't know how they can make up for this. But I thought I would give my experience anyway. I left 40 on the table for the server because it was not his fault. And we left.I could not be more upset with how this manager dealt with this situation and how he spoke and treated me.

Fantastic meal! Go into the experience with the understanding that as with a lot of fine dining the price tag is not going to be insignificant however, the food is worth every penny! Was able to have a wonderful date with some wonderful food and wine!

I cant say enough about how bad the host was at this place. Arrogant jerk who made you feel like an inferior person. And we spent $1000. Nobody should have to feel this way. Shame on you.
Pretty decent place with an overall pleasant culinary experience. Although not particularly exciting dishes, the execution was good and the flavor is there.

I hate this restaurant, and I'll tell you why, because it ruins ever other dining experience in Miami forever. This restaurant is sublime, exquisite, and exceptional, perfectly curated dishes at an elevated level. We celebrated our anniversary here on Friday night and it was incredible. We've been looking forward to dining here for quite sometime, and this was the day. I can't say enough great comments on the preparation, and service. The two David's treated us like royalty, and the chefs we interactive and inviting, often presenting their dishes directly to us with an explanation of what we were getting ready to enjoy. If you like fine dining gourmet, this is a treat, and highly recommended!

The best restaurant in Miami. The best overall caviar offerings and service in the country. I used to go to their NYC location and have been coming to this location since relocating to Miami. Everything is always perfect - the food, the service, the ambiance, everything! If you understand fine dining, you absolutely must go to Caviar Russe.

We had the most amazing experience last night at Caviar Russe Miami! Once you find your way through the curtain - the entire experience is a 10/10. We ate copious amounts of caviar - and devoured their tasting menu (even though we couldn't eat another morsel). The filet on their current menu is unlike anything I've ever had. It's absolutely disgusting that a seafood tower of this caliber even exists!! Every single thing was brilliant. Service was top notch. I wouldn't mind a special cocktail menu like the CR in NYC- but we were able to manage with their full bar! The martini was a 10/10 and paired perfectly with the caviar! The tagliatelle with truffles was insane! I'm glad I live so far from both locations or I'd be taking out a second mortgage to indulge in the greatness that is Caviar Russe! Not sure if it's on their menu- but they gave us Caviar Crème Brûlée... and it's ruined dessert for me forever... you won't find anything as good as that!!!
