I have been a regular customer at this Chipotle on US-1 for years, and unfortunately, the quality of the restaurant has declined significantly. The place was noticeably dirty, and the restroom was in unacceptable condition—no paper towels and overall very poorly maintained.
When ordering, there were barely any staff members available, and the attitude from the team was challenging. Several items prominently listed on the menu were not available. There were no napkins, and overall you can immediately tell the store has deteriorated considerably.
It’s disappointing to see this decline from such a large, publicly traded company. Based on my recent experience, I will not be considering returning to this location. Chipotle has lost a lot of value in terms of quality and customer experience.
*Update: I went in again during lunch around 2:00 p.m. on 11/12 and the line was ridiculous. There was only one person working the line because the other had stepped away - not sure if it was for a break or something else. Then the woman with the little itty bitty face tattoo came back, taking her time while the line just grew longer. It's clear no one there really cares about customer service. I think this may be my last time coming. Chipotle, please hire people who actually want to work and take pride in what they do!
*Update: I went in on Friday, 11/7, and to my surprise, the line was moving quickly and efficiently. It's like someone stepped in to get things running smoother! There's another Hispanic woman with tattoos who seems fairly new, and she was really nice - honestly, she feels like the only genuinely friendly one there. Unfortunately, everyone else still looks like they hate their job. But the goof is good, so I keep coming back but also in hopes it gets better.

The staff consistently come off as unfriendly and uninterested in helping customers. There’s a pattern here - they don’t acknowledge you until they feel like it, and the energy feels like they’d rather be anywhere else.
One example: a Black woman at the front had me standing there awkwardly while she looked directly at me and said nothing. Only after slowly putting on her gloves - at her own pace - did she finally say “hello,” like it was an inconvenience. And she’s not the only one with this attitude, just the one I’ve encountered most often.
Another time, a big Hispanic woman rushed me to order “uh-huh and what else?”, only to realize herself they didn’t have anymore white rice there. Like calm it down ma’am.

It honestly feels like this location hires anyone who’s simply willing to show up - regardless of whether they have a basic understanding of customer service or a good attitude. The general manager really needs to step in and get this place together, because right now, the staff’s energy and lack of professionalism are driving customers away.

this lady was very rude and mean to me and would not help me out and she discriminated me and doesn't help out males. did not get food order or refund, will not be doing business here again and wrote a review too. she needs to be spoken to... how can a corporation hire people who discriminate and wont assist consumers... emailed support and they refuse to help me with refund, which is very unprofessional...

the worst chiptole ever. have been here numerous times and they are constantly out of key ingredients (rice) and staff is disrespectful.
The manager is horrible. So mean, terrible service. She looks at you like she hates you and doesn't even do her job properly.

Nothing to do with the food or portions. It’s Chipotle so everyone should know what to expect. This location’s service has always been awful. I’ve never written a review because the manager there was always running it to the best of his abilities and he always stepped in when the team was slacking off. I haven’t seen him there in a while so now it’s just consistently awful. I’m not expecting 5 star service, a smile, or a “my pleasure”, but I definitely didn’t expect 2 employees to look at my bowl and walk away instead of finishing the service by adding the toppings. The employee at the start of the line had to step in and finish. To top it off, getting my bag of food carelessly slid over to the edge of the counter for me to catch it before falling was not on my bingo card. Go to the Chipotle on 120th St & US1 or 27th Ave and US1.
