The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Wagyu beef was outstanding! Shout out to great service with Teddy, Daniel, Nick, and Patricia! Will visit again if I get the opportunity.

Miami outpost of NYC restaurant in the Design District. Very good but definitely a scene.
We have dined at this restaurant multiple times. The food is great. We have always had an outstanding experience. The last time we were there was not amazing. Today was just unacceptable and we will NEVER return. It is unclear to us what the actual issue was but it may have been the server we had. But the manager who addressed us only fueled the fire and we literally walked out without eating.
Last time, we waited almost an hour for our food. No communication. When we asked what was going on the manager was brought over to us and told us they did not have the cuts we ordered. They were replacing them for us. They did not ask us what we would like instead. Just replaced our expensive premium cuts for some other meat. Brought us some appetizers to eat Ok. We went with it. It wasn’t amazing but fine.
Today was ridiculous. Same server. We had a noon reservation. We sat down maybe three minutes after 12. We were ready with our order as it is always the same. The waitress remembered us and even told us she would put our order in our account so they would know what we want. Then time just went on and on. Other people were seated. Started eating. Almost finished eating. No food on our table. No communication again. Around 12:30 we asked her if it was the same issue as last time. She reassured us they had our steaks and it was coming. At 12:45 we had enough. A server brought to our empty table the kimchi stew. No rice. No sides given to us. No one asked maybe we would want an appetizer. NOTHING. What was I supposed to eat the kimchi stew with? We asked for the manager. All of a sudden he came with our meal. When we expressed our frustration that we sat for 45 minutes waiting he proceeded to correct us. Stating that the order was only put in at 12:20 so we really only waited 25 minutes. As if THAT would make it better. So your waitress is awful and took 10-15 minutes to enter the order into the computer? So waiting as long as we did and watching everyone else eat didn’t matter? It wasn’t LONG enough to matter to this manager? That’s how you treat customers? We didn’t come to complain and get a free meal. We came for a birthday celebration that was ruined by their lack of professionalism especially the manager.
Shame on you Cote. I don’t expect this kind of treatment from a Michelin establishment. Maybe they should be evaluated again. Their service seems to be consistent. Consistently terrible!
First time there and the butchers feast blew me away!

I came in for lunch during Miami Spice for my 29th birthday with my family. I had only previously been one other time a couple years ago & I loved it. This time around, the experience was as I anticipated: incredible. From beginning to end, the atmosphere, the service, the food, all amazing. It was my parents first time & they were very impressed & very satisfied. When it came to close out, we had a lot of food leftover so we asked to get it to-go. Upon getting home, I opened the food containers & it was not the food we leftover from the lunch. Now, errors happen & I understand that, it's life. The battle is how it's handled from there. This is what takes Cote from an average restaurant to exceling beyond expectations.
Immediately after calling in & informing Cote of the issue, Bram from Cote contacted me, gathered my information, what was missed & offered solutions to the issue with sincere apologies. He went above & beyond my expectations & was able to not only provide me with the to-go meals I missed, but also provided a meal he highly recommended & a drink at the bar. Make no mistake, this is exceptional service, & the fact this was all surrounding my birthday, made for a truly positive ending to a great week.
Bram is exemplary in what it means to be in the service industry. I only have great things to say about the food, the atmosphere, & especially the service. I am thankful to Cote & will most definitely be returning ASAP!
If you needed confirmation to go, this is it! I recommend literally everything off the Miami Spice menu, as we ordered essentially everything from it. Bibimbop, Optimus Prime & the Fried Chicken were incredible. The steak tartare & salads were equally as good. The butchers lunch is the true star if you want to include the add on. You can't go wrong with Cote, truly!

I had such a great experience at COTE Miami—the food was top-notch, especially the perfectly cooked steaks, and the sleek, modern vibe made it feel like a special night out without being stuffy.

Amazing experience here while we were vacationing in miami. Absolutely beautiful people, service and food. The waiter was very personable and cooked our meat to perfection. We ordered butchers feast and kimchi paella and countless number of cocktails and they were all so good. Staff kept checking up on us and refilling water and constantly cleaning the table and never rushing us even as they were getting busy soon after opening. This is a must visit for anyone who wants to have amazing kbbq experience anywhere. Salivating as im writing this review, my god!

10/10 experience - food, service, and atmosphere all on point.
This was my second time at COTE, first time at COTE Miami. We started off a bit annoyed at our wait, but the service staff made up for it immediately upon seating. The front-of-house manager and our server Ethan did a phenomenal job of making our experience feel special, and the food was as great as I remembered from the NYC location. Definitely a must-visit!

I recently dined at Cote Miami, and I have to say, my experience was far from what I expected from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The atmosphere felt more like a hole-in-the-wall dive rather than a high-end dining establishment.
While the menu promised a sophisticated culinary experience, the execution fell flat. The food lacked the finesse and creativity I anticipated; it was unremarkable and, at times, overcooked. Service was inconsistent—waitstaff seemed rushed and inattentive, leaving us to wait far too long for our drinks and courses.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. Cote Miami seems to be more about style than substance, and it certainly didn’t live up to the Michelin star reputation. I expected a memorable meal, but instead, it felt like a pretentious facade.

COTE Miami is simply outstanding! The atmosphere is vibrant and elegant, the service is flawless, and the food is on another level. The quality of the cuts of meat is unmatched truly the best. The kimchi wagyu paella is an absolute delight, packed with flavor and creativity. On top of that, the cocktails are perfectly crafted and pair beautifully with the dishes. An excellent dining experience from start to finish!

I come to this restaurant almost every week, and it never fails to impress. The meat quality is top notch, always cooked perfectly. The experience itself is fantastic and keeps me coming back. Pro tip: ask for the rice cakes from the bar menu and the chicken—plus sauce on the side!

It’s not just a restaurant, is a space to enjoy a experience around the food. They receive you at the bar to drink a cocktail and guide you through the wide menu; cooking at the table to decide your own meat cook level. It’s quite expensive for a tourist but not for a local having in consideration prices of other restaurants with lower service. They offer for free an ice cream to close the meal and experience. I would repeat for sure!

My family took me to Cote to celebrate my 60 birthday.
The food was excellent, service impeccable. We all ordered the butcher feast. It was quite a unique experience seeing how the whole team stepped in to cook the meat for us , or meeting our needs when the main waiter was attending some other tables. Very impressive.
I gave the restaurant only 4 stars due to the lack of presentation of the dessert.
The ice cream was served in a paper cup! Look out of place for the elegant and de renowned restaurant. Even though my son has told the staff that it was my birthday, they only put a candle on my ice cream. And that’s it. I didn’t expect a free meal from them, but at least a piece of cake maybe..

We had such a memorable experience at Cote—from the atmosphere to the service, everything felt like a true Michelin star evening. The food was exceptional, beautifully executed from start to finish, and the staff throughout the night were warm, attentive, and professional. With the live DJ setting the vibe, our group of six felt welcomed and comfortable enjoying the evening together.
Unfortunately, the night ended on a sour note. The manager, Nick, came over and told us that our table was “too loud” and that he had moved multiple tables because of us—super unprofessional. No one had mentioned this to us the entire night. As people who have all worked in the restaurant industry, we completely understand the importance of respecting the space, but it was frustrating that the issue was only raised at the very end when it was tied to denying our table the shots we had ordered. With music already playing and no prior warning, it felt both unnecessary and unfair, especially given the otherwise fantastic experience.
Overall, the food and service were outstanding, but the way the situation was handled by Nick at the end left us leaving disappointed rather than glowing. A bit more communication and grace would have made all the difference.
