A friend recommended this place to come eat since where we usually go when we’re in the area was closed. We went in and ordered some horchatas they weren’t the best very plain tasting. We got our food and we noticed a fishy smell to the meat we got mind you we got meat not fish. We also got two baleadas and a pupusa. Both we’re horrible not fresh at all. The baleadas had sooo much refried beans in it worst part is that they were sour beans, they smelt weird and tasted very bad. We asked the server if they usually tasted this sour and she said that that’s how they’ve always been made and that they were fresh. They were indeed not fresh at all seemed like they were trying to get rid of them and serve them even when they’ve gone bad. The pupusa was also bad the cheese had also gone bad but they still chose to use it. I also had to say the server was also rude. At first she was respectful and got our orders but after we commented on the sour beans cheese and meat she started having an attitude. Everyone took a few bites of the food and couldn’t eat anymore one of our friends didn’t even touch her food because of how badly we reacted to ours. Not only was the server rude she also called us uneducated because of our comments about the food. We got our bill of $80 which we did not want to pay but did just to get out of this horrible restaurant. Would definitely not recommend this place and rather go to La Casa De Las Baleadas where they truly make fresh food and have amazing servers. If I couldn’t rate this place a 0/10 I would 100%

I think I reviewed a different restaurant with the same name, any way this is the one that we go in our neighborhood, is pleasant, the food is amazing, the meat soup 🍜 delicious, the waitress cutes and the atmosphere very familiar, we enjoy eating here always, thank you for being in the community 😊. The other restaurant for sure is good too.

This used to be one of my favorite spots growing up, they have remodeled very nicely. My problem is with the quality of the food and drinks. Orchata is extremely watered down. Asked for a replacement and it came with a mosquito inside. Lastly ordered the ceviche mixto. IT HAD CELERY!!!! CELERY DOSE NOT BELONG IN A CEVICHE!!!! Will not be returning.

El Atlacatl Salvi Kitchen offers a great variety of food and drinks, all full of flavor. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is lively. We went on a Thursday for Ladies Night — such a fun experience! Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for tasty Salvadoran dishes and good energy.

Great, authentic Salvadorean food. Place was busy because it was Valentine's Day but the wait staff were attentive and accommodating.

I think what matters most to restaurants is the food. On two separate occasions my family was given expired food, on one occasion my father was given spoiled beans. On another occasion my sister, mother, and I, all ordered the chicken flautas. They tasted strange and my mother told us they were spoiled, we told the waitress, and the cook came out and confirmed that they were. They took them back and removed them from our bill. However, I believe more compensation was deserved considering we almost got food poisoning. The pupusas used to be good, but now they come out undercooked and raw. I will never be eating here again.
The waiting staff is kind and the atmosphere is fine, but the food is horrible.

Omg what an outrage this restaurant is that they now charge you for the container of the food you order to take away I mean what is happening here and in Miami they are going to run out of believers almost all the restaurants are implementing something new on the bill how rude

The food was not all bad. The service is really slow, and the beans were floating in a bed of oil. Not the cleanest either.
