We needed a restaurant that was open early (6 AM) when we arrived in Miami. Yelp helped us find El Metro, close to the airport. A no frills place where English is not the primary spoken language. In the early hours, the place seems to cater to laborers about to begin their workday. I can't recall what we ordered but EVERYTHING was delicious. We were served warm, toasty buttered bread. The expression was creamy, stein and hot. The burrito was huge. The eggs were fluffy. Total bill for three was $36. I highly recommend!

Was at the little window to order a croqueta and coffee and there was no “Good Morning, how are you?” From the BLONDE old woman, with glasses, not sure what her name is. She had a horrible expression as if she wanted to ? ?. And as she took my mom’s order, she decided to move on to the next guy next to me and never got my order, assuming I didn’t want to have a tequeño… just wow! We expect a Cuban old restaurant to have a cool atmosphere and welcoming. She ALSO grabbed my moms FOOD WITH HER OWN HANDS! THATS SO GROSS AND UNHYGIENIC! Que asquerosidad! Never coming back here again.
This local dive has some good picks for a quick in and out. Prices are good also.

I don't eat Bacon, but when I break that rule, I definitely go to El Metro Restaurant with Lulu of course.... they know us there, plus it's a meal that fills you up until Dinner or Linner... gracias!

The lady on the phone was dry and not friendly…Ordered a Cuban sandwich , carne asada ….. I wish I could give this a -5 stars. Waste of money. No real shredded pork steak had no flavor, dry rice from all day…. And $25 dollars later…. That I could of just threw away for this trash 0/10 I don’t recommend. ??
