I don't eat Bacon, but when I break that rule, I definitely go to El Metro Restaurant with Lulu of course.... they know us there, plus it's a meal that fills you up until Dinner or Linner... gracias!
We are from California and we are use to Mexican food and not familiar with Cuban food. This place was delicious. We ordered the taco salad with chicken. We asked for salsa but apparently that is not a Cuban food. Our dishes were so tasty without salsa. It came with beans and rice and I have never had such flavorful black beans.

We needed a restaurant that was open early (6 AM) when we arrived in Miami. Yelp helped us find El Metro, close to the airport. A no frills place where English is not the primary spoken language. In the early hours, the place seems to cater to laborers about to begin their workday. I can't recall what we ordered but EVERYTHING was delicious. We were served warm, toasty buttered bread.
