I had never been to El Nuevo Siglo as a diner and it was an amazing experience to eat the food there. I ate Ternilla with rice, beans and plantains. The Ternilla was the most delicious I've ever tasted. I recommend you go and eat there and support this great restaurant
I absolutely love this business. Not only is it a grocery store, but it is also an amazing restaurant inside, that was also serves the best food in town, for the best price in town. It's all handmade from scratch everyday. I eat there probably 3 to 4 days a week, easy ... 🤩
It's an unusual mix of a supermarket and a local diner. I initially came here for lunch and ended up full, after a two-course dinner consisting of wholeheartedly generous portions at quite an affordable price.
One fact that I, however, thoroughly disliked is the absurdity of tipping here. Instead of letting me choose if and how much I want to tip, the bill was automatically increased by a 20% markup, which is close to a ripoff. Sort it out.
