One of my favorite places in the world. I've been to many cigar lounges (dozens of them) in my travels across the US, Europe and Latin America, and El Vecino is a true, singular gem. Doesn't miss a beat compared to any of the best anywhere. The product is outstanding, the staff is deeply knowledgable, the food is world-class, the drinks are fantastic, and the ambiance cannot be beat for any occasion. Whether you're hanging out with your friends, or it's date-night, or you're celebrating your mom's birthday -- whatever it is, just stop by and be cool to the staff. They work really hard to have everything on point.

Service was abysmal, specifically the manager. After not being greeted at the door and having to walk around the venue for several minutes, we finally were seated only to be treated poorly by a manager that is way over his head. I simply asked for a drink and was denied that service, and consequently forced to picked between distilled or regular water. Never did it occur to him that I did not want water of any sort. He didn’t even give me the chance to explain. It’s a shame because the venue is nice and our waiter was respectful, however the manger clearly has no idea how to properly treat a customer. Avoid this venue at all cost.

It was our first time here and the place looked great, atmosphere was on point but unfortunately the service from the manager or boss.. (the only guy wearing a suit) was horrible. He did not greet us properly, we had to walk around to see if anyone attended us to be seated because nobody attends you when you first walk it. There’s no host, nor sign telling you to wait to be seated. When we did get seated by the gentleman we order a drink but he told us.. “I am going to bring you waters” (but in a demanding way) and proceeded to make us choose which type of water we wanted (As silly as it sounds) but his hostility and condescending manner definitely made us leave. He didn’t even come back to get our drink order. It’s unfortunate but honestly there is no reason to be treated like that. Do not recommend this place at all.
