Chef Beltran combines satisfying minimalism with indulgent extravagance in both the design of the venue and the menu. I decided to go appetizer-heavy and ordered the foie gras (mastered @ariete and easily the best thing I ordered), escargot, squid provençale, and brouillade.

Café Laurel is a little gem in the heart of Miami World Center. They serve a nice assortment of breakfast and lunch items, with options that are complete, fresh, hot, and delicious. The food is always great, high quality, and made with fresh ingredients. The burger and fries are good, and the double patty burger is a smash burger. The Cuban sandwich and salad were all very very good tasting. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. The atmosphere is beautiful, with elegant and cozy decor. They offer full service dining in a chic cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The service is always great, fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff are very professional, and the pricing is very reasonable for a high end experience. However, the menu and hours were reduced, and they stopped serving really good oysters, which is a bummer. Despite this, the food and service remain excellent. It is the perfect place to come work with a great coffee, have meetings, or simply enjoy a delicious meal in a lovely setting.
