Food has been below mid the last couple times wr visited. But, we tried to forgive. We drove from Key largo as we usually do fir soulfood. Have been more disappointed with each trip. My oxtails are so thin I thought they was playing cards. And whyt fella making the plates only gave me 5 of em. Not tender or flavorful as they used to be. But to give that little and ask for so much is crazy work. My git smothered wings. Which was NOTHING but fried wings with a spoonful of gravy on top. That is not the definition of smothered. Was very disappointing. May not be coming back again. Will damn sure not recommend to friends.

Walking in to this establishment you are immediately aware of the fantastic smell of real soul food. If you love soul food as much as I do this restaurant is a MUST. Did I mention the generous servings and the wonderful hostess???

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I was able to call my order in and it was ready when I got there. I had the fried pork chops, collard greens, yams, pegion peas and rice. Small Mac and cheese on the side. It was enough food for two. Very tasty. My only neg was the rice was a little salty BUT it could be just me. On a scale from 1- 10 I would give a STRONG 9.5. I will eat there again. ☆☆☆☆

This restaurant is in my neighborhood, And I like supporting local businesses This place had a lot of different food to offer so my first time coming I wanted to try a little of everything I ordered Lime beans which is one of my favorite foods. I got home Open my food to eat and the lime and beans were spoiled sour so of course I took them back. She tells me the manager is not in. It’s nothing that she can do. I was like you just served me you looking at this food you smell as well you see this food is spoiled she said oh they must’ve left them out the night before WHAT!!! you serving food that you cook from the day before you supposed to throw that food away. Why would you be serving food? That’s a day old I told her no I want my money back. She said I have to come back when the manager is there never ever ever would I step foot in this place again so much for supporting your local businesses.

I was traveling to Miami for a cruise. I was looking for a spot to eat at. A friend found this place. We Uber over there. The food was good. The cake was exceptional. There is a guy there that makes their cakes. Homemade cakes.
