Cuban soul food for the soul is on the menu at the family restaurant que tienen el sabor. The breakfast special is completo, the Bistec a Caballo (eggs on horseback - palomilla steak with onions, grilled ham and lime) with fries is fantastic! First let me say, don't expect ANYTHING fancy. But do expect the BEST service, food and old fashioned atmosphere in Miami! So historical and the food is amazing. Family owned restaurant and owners always on premises. Huge portions platters and sandwiches.
This place has something that 99% of sandwich shops fail at... their sandwiches are hot. The meats are heated. The cheese is melted. You ask for a hot sandwich and when you bite into your sandwich it's hot. What a pleasure. Great work.
