On Monday the 25th, my partner and I went to Little Havana just to check out this little gem, La Esquina de la Fama. We were craving their Mojito’s served with frozen ice and maybe a pan con lechón. Instead, we showed up to find the place boarded up, news crews outside, and learned from a cameraman that they’d just gone through a fire.

But here’s the part that really stuck with us: when we walked around back, the entire staff was there—smiling, in good...

Happened on this spot while visiting Calle Ocho. Very welcoming staff and owner. The food was so delicious. Best Cuban sandwich I've had. The fried chickpeas were amazing as well. The mojito was also beautiful and delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised by our experience and I would definitely visit again if in the area.
