On a whim, we decided to take the treck down to Tripical Park and check out Food Truck Fridays. I was initially worried about parking, but we got lucky and a spot miraculously opened just as we arrived. The power of positive thinking. We were pleasantly surprised by the number and variety of food trucks in attendance. From Spanish to pizza, nothing but corn to milkshakes there was a little of everything. We first tried the buttered garlic corn in a cup. Honestly, it was way too salty and had an excessive amount of garlic. Look, we both love garlic, my Filipino wife, especially, but dear God, there was enough garlic to ward off the entire cast of Tru blood. Next, we tried the Korean street food booth. I say booth because it was not really a food truck but a wooden stand. That being said, the food was amazing. We sampled a few BBQ items and could not believe how delicious it was. My wife gravitated to the Milkshake truck because Ice cream and chocolate make her happy. I tried a steak Taco and was very underwhelmed. The meat was dry, there was no sauce, and the taco shell tasted stale. We will go again sometime and sample other delicacies.

Super fun environment! There was a DJ doing a live set with lot of food trucks with various types of food. Had to go to the Santo Los Dulces food truck to get the classic Halo Sundae (Nutella churro on top of Santo Dulces ice cream ??). There were lot of food trucks with authentic Cuban cuisines as well as a donut and milkshake food truck. Lot of good eats and vibes! Glad to have found this gem while driving ?

All the posters said bounce houses and kids activities, but you have nothing except bounce house that cost $10 per kid to use? Those things cost $100 each to rent so you guys made a killing, congrats. That’s super shady and we drove pretty far for this.

Great environment to be with family and a variety of food choices from burgers, pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, corn on the cob or in a cup, ribs, coffe, lemonade, lobster, many choices, there are benches to seat, no umbrellas but it starts late on the afternoon around 6pm , some people bring their own lawn chairs, music with a Dj on site with various types of music, entrance is free.. They also put 3 jumping houses for the kidos is $10 for kid to play on the jumping houses. My kid used all his energy in the jumping houses from eating the ice creams. Overall is a nice play to have a quick bite with the family and being outdoors.
