Had blackened shrimp sandwich. Shrimp were tremendously overcooked and sparse. Fries cold.

Garcias has always been a favorite, however, my experience with my family yesterday upon arriving at Garcia’s was absolutely awful. Rude behavior, a lack of attentiveness and disregard prompted us to leave immediately and we chose the restaurant next door. I live in Broward and drove especially to celebrate my birthday at Garcia’s, very upsetting.

Garcia‘s was the best meal we had in Miami by far. The stone crab, scallops, shrimp, and lobster were amazing. I actually enjoyed octopus for the first time. The cocktails were fantastic! It’s mighty rare that I get my socks knocked off at a restaurant. They were knocked off all right.

The location offers a quintessential Miami atmosphere, with great views of the water, boats, and surrounding buildings that definitely add to the overall experience. Unfortunately, the cleanliness fell short of expectations — the space felt unkempt, with sticky railings and tables, and an unpleasant sewer odor that drifted through the air at times.

The food was also underwhelming. While my husband enjoyed his meal more than I did, my mahi mahi arrived suspiciously fast and did not taste freshly prepared, as though it had been reheated. The accompanying vegetables seemed to have sat in a warming tray too long, resulting in a tough, rubbery texture. The mashed potatoes lacked flavor and were reminiscent of institutional food. The salad was very basic — chopped lettuce and sliced tomatoes — more fitting as a taco topping than a side dish.

Overall, the food was significantly overpriced for the quality received. While the view and vibe were enjoyable, they were not enough to make up for the disappointing dining experience.

Sitting on the back deck watching the boats go by is part of the experience. The food is good, the service is good. We’ve been a few times, and we’ll probably be back. Worth a try if you haven’t been.

A great spot for fresh seafood lovers with a water view. The fish and shrimp are always fresh, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is simple and authentic.

Absolutely great Miami vibe and incredible view of action on the Miami River. The service is attentive, the food comes out promptly. The order is right and the food is of course delicious.

The fish dip is not my favorite, it has almost no smoked taste that I could discern. But it's appealing and everybody in my party finished it.

This restaurant is only 15 to 20 minutes from the Miami airport so you can easily spend some time here if you're laying over, waiting for a flight.

This place is really nice on the water. The food was really good and the environment is phenomenal, ask to sit outside by the bay and watch the boats and wildlife.

We got in with a group of 9 JUST before it got busy so the service got a little slow but the seafood couldn't have been fresher and the people watching couldn't have been better. Highly recommended!

Embarrassingly small portion of scampi. Six normal shrimp swimming in a pool of watery pan sauce. The stone crab was good and fresh, but the lemon wedges they served with it were half decomposed. It felt like a lack of oversight or standards in the kitchen. Our server, Erick, was nice about and took the scampi off the bill after we sent it back.

Disappointed. No view, mediocre service and food was not good. Beware that they add a tip charge that they call “fees.” In addition, don’t go by their tip suggestions. The suggestion is based on the total amount, which includes fees and taxes. It really pissed me off. If they had not done that, maybe I wouldn’t be writing this review.

We arrived for dinner and were immediately welcomed and greeted by Jose and another young lady. As Jose was showing us to the only table available he noticed another table overlooking river becoming available and gave us that one instead. The amazing service continued with Luis, our server. One of us ordered a whole fish, Luis brought us on a tray a few beautiful snappers for us to choose our preference. Our food- from the appetizers to the main courses were out at another level - out of league. Huge kudos to the owners for a great job done. Huge kudos to their entire team, Jose, Luis, all of the servers and staff - great job! Fans forever

Our first time in Miami, FL. We got recommended to try Garcia's Seafood. It was a wonderful experiences with fresh seafoods, and amazing customer services, especially, our server Erik. He's understand some English, but he's very patient, understood exactly what we wants for our foods and services, and gave tailored recommendation for us as a first time visitor.

Highly recommended this place for great seafoods and customer services 👌
