We came across Good Chef by accident while shopping at the Asian market, and I’m so glad we decided to stay for dinner. The restaurant is small, cozy, and beautifully decorated with anime characters and cherry blossoms, giving it a unique and inviting vibe. Coming into the restaurant, it had such a beautiful appearance.
But the service was very mid, not what I’m used to. My husband and I had the Fried Shrimp as an appetizer, which was pretty good. My husband ordered the Golden Steak Rice, and I had the Tonkatsu Ramen, which lacked so much flavor.

Also, what restaurant doesn’t have condiments? No salt, pepper, chili oil, Sriracha, nothing. They didn’t even come over once to ask how we were doing or...
