We stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport everytime we cruise!! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful,always clean!! The staff are very patient and helpful, always kind and professional, and it can get pretty hectic with large groups of cruisers!! Very nice hotel but it is aging. Also our room on the 7th floor had a beautiful view of downtown Miami and the sunrise; it also was in the flight path of planes departing from the airport and was loud in the room all night. Every few minutes. Made sleeping very difficult.
This hotel is very large and the suites are spacious, but personally I found it dated and in need of a full refurbishment. I did love the glass elevators, though. You receive vouchers for a drink and a ‘dinner,’ but the dinner is really just snacks. You can order proper food from local restaurants which is delivered to your room.
