Overall it is a lovely experience, with plenty of wow factor. However, I don’t think we will return, as we weren’t quite WOW’ed enough for another $500 meal here now that we have crossed it off the list. It’s DeFiNiTeLy worth a visit for a special occasion
The service at the bar is awkward, as the servers struggle to reach the plates to remove them. We ended up handing plates to reduce the tension. The halibut course of the autumn menu comes out cold. And when I inquired about the dish and what temp it was supposed to come out at because it was cold, the server said “it comes straight out of the poacher”. And the point of sitting at the bar was to watch the plating process, however idle employees stood in the way of the view....read full review
Unimaginative and bland. Also watched staff checking texts on their Apple Watches. The flow of a POS machine and hum of the printer directly in front of us. Complete let down to Joel’s legacy
