My husband and I went for Valentine's Day. I'm Peruvian and a fan of Gastón Acurio.
Once again, another incredible restaurant, perfect in every detail, as always. The location is spectacular.

Enjoying the view with delicious Peruvian food is a perfect dinner with your loved one! 100% recommended ✨❤️

La Mar has a beautiful waterfront view, but the food didn’t quite live up to the price or luxury vibe. Great ambiance, specially for a date night.

The Michelin star fine dining! It was a great experience for me and my brother while I’m vacationing in Miami. A little pricey but amazingly delicious food and excellent service! Highly recommended!

"We had a large celebration party with dietary restrictions and Vegans. Chef Diego Oka, both managers and the amazing team were spot on the entire night. We could not have asked for a better experience. What a great Grande Finale', IT WAS EPIC !!!!"

Such an amazing experience! 10/10 all around. our server Alfredo was incredible. best server we’ve ever had. he was so great at making the experience one to remember by recommending amazing dishes and was on top of it the entire time! We would come back solely because how good he was but the food was incredible on top. new favorite restaurant!

Extremely disappointing experience on Mother’s Day for brunch!
We arrived to a locked door. Extremely unwelcoming, cold entrance where we waited like herded cattle in a tight space with others for them to open unsure if we were in the correct spot because it there was not a clear sign. When the door opened to BLASTING music, we were quickly seated. The DJ did adjust the volume thankfully.
They took our entree order and told us we could go to the appetizer buffets. The food was ok, not bad. It was comical how fast they wanted us to eat and leave so they put new people at our table. We barely had finished the order for our entree and they asked “do you want us to bring it right now?”. We answered, “uh, maybe after our appetizer at the buffet”.
As we were making our escape at the end, we were blocked at the “exit”by people grouped in “a line” to get their picture taken.
Never EVER again.
Loud, crazy atmosphere, ok food. Extended rushed service. Tacky!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times in the past and have always had a great experience, which is why I was especially disappointed with their Mother’s Day brunch special this year. At $155 per person (plus gratuity), I expected a luxurious and memorable meal for such a special occasion—but unfortunately, the experience fell short.

The buffet was severely underwhelming. The selection was surprisingly limited compared to other high-end brunch buffets in the area, and by the time we were seated at 3 PM (the last seating), many of the hot items were lukewarm or going cold. It felt like we were getting the leftovers of an already modest spread.

While there’s typically live music on weekends, there was no added ambience or effort made for Mother’s Day—which seemed like a missed opportunity, especially considering the elevated price point.

The one bright spot was our server, Stacy, who was absolutely wonderful—attentive, kind, and professional. The cocktails were also fresh and well-made, no complaints there. But overall, the food and atmosphere did not live up to the price or the occasion.

My family and I were genuinely let down. For what we spent, I expected so much more. I wouldn’t return for the brunch experience again, nor would I recommend it to others looking for a true luxury brunch. There are far better options with competitive pricing.

La Mar exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely exceptional—each dish was rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The views were stunning and added the perfect backdrop to the dining experience. The staff provided excellent service throughout the evening, attentive yet never intrusive. A truly memorable experience from start to finish.

Most of the food was good some was meh.

Server forgot the coffee and simply never came back until he brought the check without me asking for it. I had to put my food order in with the manager that was walking around asking everyone how they were doing.

Not good overall...
