I ordered the jerk chicken pasta & the chicken was burnt. The ambience was nice but the music was so loud you can't hear your conversation. Although the restaurant wasn't full it took forever for our food to come out. Drinks were weak as well.
I think the lighting and decor were on point. The staff was really and accommodating. We were running really late and we still were seated in a timely manner with no issues with my reservation. The music is really loud it's hard to talk or have a conversation. I'm guessing it's suppose to be more of a party after 9 because it felt like the club. I would much rather house music or R&B for dinner. The rap music didn't really set the middle to me. The blue wall is legendary lol. Overall good restaurant, could be great. They didn't have the steak eggrolls and someone told me they were really good here. My steak was really good and the garlic really popped on the Broccolini.
Horrible!! The waitress was nice but the restaurant sucks! They didn't have anything in the kitchen that was on the menu. Ordered lobster they burnt it. Only had one order of lamb chops, it was a mess. The place smells like mildew. It's not a beautiful inside as it is shown in pictures.
Overall we had a good time and our server was super nice! However, I don't like the fact that they give you small portions of food, there was no liquor in the drinks at all it tastes like syrup. Also, they're considered a “lounge” and we weren't able to get hookah after 10pm. Also, it's mandatory you buy a bottle after 9pm and the minimum is $1000. That's absolutely ridiculous . I feel like if you want to be seen as a club then don't offer dinner and open up at 11:00pm like most clubs. People should be demanded to buy bottles and also, how are you a hookah lounge but don't offer it until after 10? But after 9 you have to buy a bottle. That's a complete rip off and I see why the place was empty. Service is great but they need to re-do their business strategy because it's all over the place.
This restaurant has nice decor, but they need to repair the cushions in the booths. The night I was there the waitress was not friendly, everything we asked for the answer was no (pre fix menu selection, Miami spice deal, use inkind app for payment, to speak to a manager). The management needs to really evaluate the overall service and restaurant decor. The wi fi wasn't working so they couldn't take credit card payment and didn't tell us until it was time to pay the bill.
Food was very salty. Seats all had holes and rips. Waiter didn't know where to take customer's orders
I was honestly shocked and disappointed with my experience at Playa. I paid $2,700 for a table, and throughout the night the service and experience were far below expectations: •Several items we ordered (and prepaid for) were out of stock, but management refused to credit us back. •We paid for juice and had to ask three separate times before receiving just one small carafe of cranberry juice — which eight people had to share for the entire night. •When I asked for glasses and napkins, the server eventually returned with two dirty, unwashed glasses from the bar. With 8 of us at the table, we ended up having to reuse shot glasses to mix drinks. Clean glasses were never brought despite multiple requests. •We prepaid for Red Bulls but never received them. After asking at least five times, we were finally told at the end of the night they had run out. Still, they refused to credit the charge back to my card, saying they “couldn't.” •On top of that, our waitress had a terrible attitude, was dismissive throughout the night, and refused to provide a copy of my receipt when I asked. For the amount we paid, this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Too loud, drinks weren't tasty. Food wasn't good Hard to focus on food or conversation. Felt like I was in a club. Photographer was the best part.
As far as my experience at Playa Miami, the food was overpriced for the portions that they served the waitress was busy working in the party area more than she was in the main area where we were seated at so we had very limited access to her I was not pleased at all with the experience and the cost that I paid for the food.
They were out of half of the menu & the food that was available to order was horrible!! Service sucks. Then has the nerve to charge 20% service charge when the service was hurriedness. Restaurant needs a deep clean. Yea definitely wouldn't recommend.

Place looked really bad seats were ripped and had a horrible smoke smell also we never received our deposit back for booking it's been a week now and nothing
I was truly disappointed, I visited from out of town and 50% of the menu was unavailable. Service was slow even though the venue was barely full, and the food that I did order was not worth the price. Not to mention the deposit doesn't go towards your bill
My first experience at Playa was a 10/10. The aesthetic look inside is my type of style, it's definitely a vibe for photos/content if you're into that. The food that we had was all 10's! We had Slow Cooked Braised Short Ribs, Garlic Mash, Crab Cake, Baked Mac & Cheese. Food served hot & fresh!!!! Drinks were 10 stars!! We had a total of 4 drinks. Price about $100 per couple.
The leather seats were torn to shreds which was uncomfortable if you had on a shirt or shorts. It took 25-30 mins to make drinks. A spider crawled from the lightning fixture to our table. The food was mediocre at best. Small portions. Calamari was OVERCOOKED! Pasta was bland. Unfortunately I (we) won't return to this establishment again.
Our experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, our server failed to introduce himself, so we never even knew his name. There was no bartender available, and every drink we ordered was incorrect we had to send them back, and they were just basic lemon drops. The restaurant doubles as a nightclub, and it shows. The booths had visible puncture marks from high heels, and the entire place smelled like mold. The bathroom was filthy and clearly not maintained. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. Since gratuity is automatically included, it felt like the server had no motivation to provide quality service. At one point, we had to ask other staff members just to find him. The only redeeming part of the night was the food it was decent, about a 7 out of 10. But overall, I wouldn't return.
