DON’T BUY THE CAKES! I previously sat and ate at this restaurant and the dining food options are really good. But this visit I tried their cakes and they are not good. They look delicious but taste old and are very dry. I think because they have them sitting out in the open they soak up the flavor of the place and dry out. Let me tell you that it is difficult to find a good breakfast/brunch restaurant in North Miami. Fortunately, I found one on Wednesday in the Belle Meade district! We have driven past it on busy Biscayne Blvd for years, but we didn't notice it. I searched Yelp and voila, found it! LA Social. It was everything that we were looking for and more.

This was my first time at La Social and it will continue being. Food is good, service is great and the place is just peaceful and nicely decorated. It’s like a tea house with lovely food. We had the pleasure to be served by Yani and Vanesa and they were great and very attentive. This will be my spot to come back for brunch ???
