We had a reservation on a Friday at 9:15 pm. We arrived on time, they took us to the table, gave us the menus. We already knew what to order as we reserved for the Miami Spice Menu. We told the waiter and he told us that was not possible as it was until 9pm, we did not have that on the reservation. We still asked him to give us 2 minutes to see the menu then, so we could order something else. He stayed there, waiting, we insisted on a minute to check, he told us: "Oh, kitchen is closing in 4 minutes". We were shocked but insisted on minute to be able to check the menu together. He then added: "But the restaurant is also closing in 30 minutes". And he left. We left after that, because the service was horrible, you could clearly see they did not want you there. None of that information was on the confirmed reservation so I recommend the place to check times open for reservation.

Love this place — BUT — management seems to misunderstand what a nice atmosphere is. Loud THUMPING pop music blares from speakers that render the seating area at the far end unusable and the whole restaurant gets a “sports bar” vibe. Very, very out of sync with the elegance of the restaurant’s material setting and the JW Marriott as a whole, especially the Drake right below.
Just a tragic misunderstanding of aesthetics, but easily corrected.

After a couple of wonderful nights at the JW Marriott, my wife and I had a delicious, relaxing pre-Brightline lunch before heading back home. Our server and bartender, Nico, provided excellent service! He was personable, professional, and efficient. Greatly appreciated! We had the salmon salad and the Cuban. Both were delicious. Look forward to dining here again soon!

Miami Spice 2023. Good service from Todd and Georgina. I had Fugazzetta (Argentine pizza, my 1st time) Napoleon Key Lime cake, and Grilled Skirt Steak. 8/12/23 in the afternoon. I delivered a letter of good service & tip for Todd. This visit is dedicated to my then German-American ex-gf. A promise I shall uphold.

Order took overall and hour! What a horrible experience. NEVER AGAIN! To top it off the food was not worth waiting an hour for. No manager ever came over to apologize.

Waitress never checked on us we had to flag her down to get service. Pathetic.

Anybody who is somebody deserves to dine at La Terraza Cafe Fiola, 1500 San Ignacio Ave, Coral Gables, Fl 33146 for Sunday Brunch Ambiance, it’s an elegant establishment with beautiful views and a Miami climate that is pleasing to your senses. Of course, you will need a fat wallet with your eye on your waitstaff. No kids' menu.We asked for Coral Gable's finest faucet water and were billed $18. We also ordered a bacon burger that ended up costing $58 as an order of bacon came with it. We were billed $36 for a 6 oz steak and eggs, but only got one egg. They need to fix it so it says EGG.Having dined and ordered an excellent plate of Burrata, the Burrata Foccacia at $29 was a disappointment lacking taste of other restaurants and was a little runny. The pancakes were very flavorful and priced at $24. The salmon Benedict priced at $32 was very good. The slice of chocolate Fiola cake was excellent though a little pricey at $36.Drinks are made at the table mostly priced $20 or more. Considering tax and tip, a $20 drink comes to about $26. They are good drinks though. As brunch appetizers they offer the CHOPPED SALAD (28), CUSCINO PANINO (27), GRILLED SHRIMP CAESAR (38), FIOLA MEATBALLS (28), PALETA CINCO JOTAS which are marinated olives (32). On the grill they offer the KING SALMON (44), 8 oz BRANZINO (48), 8 oz FILET MIGNON (62), and WAGYO NY STRIP (125). Their pasta runs from $32 to $65.The jazz music is great plus for Sunday brunch.

I can't believe how good this was. Quiet and well-appointed space within the JW Marriot hotel. The menu selection included a mix of seafood, chicken, and steak. The salads are great and the bread was hot and fresh.

This JW 2nd floor restaurant / bar serves great appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. Located on Brickell Ave. The restaurant has great outdoor seating. Services friendly although leisurely. Food was hot and flavorful.

La Terraza is a great option for anyone staying at the JW Marriott. It’s located on the second floor. Coffee is the standard hotel coffee you’ll find. I had pancakes and a yoghurt parfait for breakfast. Both were pretty good.Service was pretty good and fast. There’s indoor and outdoor seating
