Justin was attentive without hovering, confident without being pushy, and incredibly thoughtful in anticipating what we needed before we even asked. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made the entire experience feel elevated and effortless.
It’s rare to come across service that feels both polished and genuinely personal. Justin is the kind of professional who turns a great restaurant into a memorable experience. Joshua, our server, did an outstanding job taking care of us—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. One of the highlights of the night was the incredible attention to detail: the team surprised us with a custom printed menu with my wife’s name on it, which truly made the evening feel special and personal.
Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and hospitable. The food was excellent across the board, and the atmosphere was upscale yet comfortable—perfect for a celebration.
Maple & Ash went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday memorable. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend it for any special occasion.

Her recommendations were flawless, the food was insane, and the Wagyu carpaccio is an absolute MUST. Seriously unreal. The vibe, the service, the flavors—10/10 across the board. Ok so I’ll start off by saying I visited last night which was my birthday so I planned a little solo date for myself. I went during the 6-7 tower hour. When I walked in the energy from the people who did greet me was dry. For one you need to hire black workers because every one who worked there that night was white or Spanish and appeared to lack diversity. I don’t have enough space here to write why this matters. I’ve lived in Miami my entire life and I travel A LOT. I’ve visited this same restaurant in Arizona and the service there was top notch this location could never compare. I don’t plan on coming back. When I sat down at the bar there was a bartender making a drink right in front of me and another bartender to the right of her doing other things at the bar. No one gave me a menu so after ten mins I had to yell “ can I have a menu”. Keep in mind a party of 5 white people came and sat down and was given a menu immediately. I already knew I wasn’t going to tip when I saw this and of course everyone was extremely nice calling me honey and my love after I asked for a box to go and the CHECK. I could’ve paid for the tabs of everyone in that restaurant. I’m a quiet money girl so I don’t have to brag or show off and moral here is you don’t know who is dining in your restaurant black or not so good customer service needs to be given to every one. It was also ironic that while sitting down I overheard a waitress and manager talking about a customer who was disappointed about the service and the manager was asking the waitress to explain what happened. I dine out almost every night at some of the best restaurant thankfully I didn’t allow the experience to ruin my birthday. Maple and ash should’ve never brought this restaurant to Miami . This location is HORRIBLE and the sea food tower was good however I couldn’t even eat it at the restaurant due to the customer service (anyone who is an empath or can read energy in a room would understand).

Dear readers, I’d like to share my recent dining experience at Maple & Ash in Miami.
The atmosphere is excellent and the kitchen is operating at a very high level. Overall, the food quality is outstanding and the evening could have easily been a five-star experience.
The carpaccio was exceptional — perfectly balanced, delicate, and memorable. Huge respect to the chefs for such a refined and thoughtful dish. The beef tartare was decent, though not the strongest I’ve had. Personally, I would have preferred crispier bruschetta to better complement the texture. The crab/lobster dumplings were creative and enjoyable, especially with the added sauce that shifted the flavor profile while eating. The tomahawk steak was cooked exactly as requested, beautifully presented, and done right.
Unfortunately, the reason this restaurant did not receive all five stars comes down to our waiter.
From a visual and performative standpoint, he clearly knows how to create a show. His tattoos added character, and the way he approached the table — stirring a cocktail, slightly spilling it, and inviting everyone to start — looked stylish and entertaining.
However, beyond the performance, the professionalism simply wasn’t there. Basic requests were handled poorly, and guest comfort felt secondary to personal ego. This was especially surprising considering our dinner for three exceeded $500 without alcohol, as we intentionally chose not to drink that evening. At this level, service should be attentive, respectful, and focused on the guest — regardless of alcohol consumption.
Because of this, the waiter unintentionally became the “star” of the evening — but not in a positive way. His approach ultimately prevented what could have been a flawless five-star experience.
That said, the management team was excellent — attentive, respectful, and genuinely professional. They clearly understand hospitality and represent the restaurant very well.

Maple and Ash is supposed to be known for their service but unfortunately we didn’t see that for my birthday. The food was good but the server was inattentive. He kept avoiding our table and going to other tables and told my family i didn’t order something when i did. Plus they gotten my friend’s drink wrong twice and just set down the drink in a rush so there’s wasn’t any time to respond. I felt unimportant there for my birthday. no birthday dessert and no service. there’s many restaurants in miami that offer better and not so expensive. we spent $2k. Tried it and don’t need to go back.
Also I forgot to mention that the welcome cocktail has vodka in it which i am allergic to. When i informed the server he refused to replace it with gin. Its my birthday and I didn’t get a welcome drink like everyone else. Shitty

The interior design is absolutely stunning. It’s dark, sexy, and filled with real candles that create an incredible atmosphere - very moody, elegant, and simply wow.
The service was amazing. Our server, Nelson, was friendly, attentive, and we had zero issues - quite the opposite. Everything felt effortless, and we truly enjoyed the experience.
I’m very picky when it comes to food, but for me the food was a solid 10/10. The octopus was completely different from any I’ve tried before, the three-color fish was excellent, the hand-cut frites with rosemary, parmesan, and garlic aioli were perfect, and the pasta - Ricotta Agnolotti & Winter Truffle - was absolutely amazing.
We still had room for dessert and ordered the chocolate cake. There were only two of us, and when it arrived, I was honestly impressed by the size and somehow, we still finished it

For my last night in Miami for art Basel week we’re able to get a table at the beautiful Maple and Ash. This is the only restaurant we actually made a reservation for and of course we were late, but upon arrival we were still seated. Just as the TikTok post, the setup was beautiful with a customized happy birthday menu that makes you feel a little special. With a complimentary desert to conclude you experience, it was everything we thought it would be, glad we chose maple and ash to close out our miami weekend.
