Disappointed. We went for dinner and ordered the pesto pizza and au poivre steak. The pizza came out burnt, the steak was supposed to be medium and came out well done. The broccolini that goes with the steak was also burnt. To be honest, for a $240 dinner this was merely mediocre, won’t be back. This is what Miami food scene hides behind the hype. Been to many places and I’m not surprised. The atmosphere, space and service was good. The food and the pricing crazy and mediocre. There way too many more places where you can get better food for a better price.

Picked this place randomly on a saturday afternoon. They have outdoor seatings which I prefer. Nice atmosphere, really good food. Alex, my server, was super helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended.

if you are at or close the designer district, just go, perfect place, great food, and fantastic service

I love MGFD. Great from brunch, lunch or dinner. Clean, trendy and comfortable atmosphere. Inside or outside. Food is always great, service is usually very friendly and attentive. Saturday night Alex was our server, he was knowledable and helpful with our 2 friends being nondairy veggie eaters. Everyone was happy!

Saw this place on the Bib Gourmand and decided I’d have to try it out with my mother since it was a special occasion and we were in the area. What a good idea that was. The food was delicious. In particular, the tuna carpaccio was probably the best carpaccio I’ve ever had in my life. Somehow the service was even better then the food. Our waiter Alex went above and beyond with a great vibe for the dinner table. One of the best restaurants in the design district.

Love this place. Simple food done well. Great fresh ingredients. Great spot for people watching.

It's quite pricey though, but not crazy, just verging on the edge of 'ouch'.

And I guess great food isn't instant so budget for dinner time if you're in a group.

But on balance a strong recommendation.

Alex is the best host ever!!!! I don’t like the food of the place but Alex help to us in everything!!! The best service!!! But food 1/10
