I've been going there for the last couple of months and the quality of the food has changed so drastically that it's incredible. I don't think I will be going back.
North italia never fails to meet the mark. Our server Ray was absolutely determined to make our dinner as perfect as possible, accommodating all of our requests. Food was right on target , super Tuscan was perfect! Grazie north italia !!
I recently dined at North Italia – Dadeland and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered the garlic truffle bread, the strozzapreti, and the scallops. While the first two dishes were fine, the scallops were clearly spoiled—they had a strong ammonia or bleach-like smell, indicating they were expired. It was so off-putting that I immediately lost my appetite.
We also noticed a few gnats and mosquitoes flying around. The restaurant was dimly lit, so it was hard to tell how widespread the issue was, but it was definitely something we took note of and found unpleasant.
That said, the service was solid. The staff was courteous and promptly removed the scallop dish from our bill, which we appreciated. Still, between the food issue and the bugs, it was not the dining experience we were hoping for.

I took my dad out for an early Father’s Day celebration Saturday night, and I have to say it was amazing!! Destiny was our server and he went above and beyond. Made our whole night. We will always ask for him. His recommendations on food were also spot on!
Just Great overall 👌
Food was delicious and I have gluten allergy and the options are so good and delicious! Best gluten free pizza hands down! The service is exceptional every single time I've eaten here!
Food is good but very small portions. The pastas are $25 and they are like kid portion sizes. Definitely not worth the money. Not recommended for delivery or pickup either
We recently dined at North Italia Dadeland and, although we had a small issue with our order, the way it was handled truly impressed us. Mistakes can happen anywhere—but it’s how a team responds that really shows their commitment to great service.
The manager, Alejandro was incredibly professional, kind, and quick to make things right. Their calm and thoughtful approach turned a frustrating moment into a reminder of what real hospitality looks like.
Our server, Alejandra was just as amazing attentive, and sincerely apologetic. They made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the rest of our meal.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and thanks to the outstanding team, we left with a great impression. We’ll definitely be back—and highly recommend this place to anyone who values not just good food, but genuine care and service.
Doesn't have complementary bread ok fine then the food comes, literally toddler portions, I'm literally still hungry. Then the check comes, tell me why I paid 1 dollar for each noodle. 30 dollar check for that. Plus it was mid. Maybe if it was 10 dollars. Then she assumes we're all on the same bill.
Restaurantji Recommends
The pasta bolognese that in the menu says specialty of the house is very bad it had almost no sauce the pasta was undercooked and also drinks are all from a soda fountain and wine was refrigerated cold
The food was outstanding, we had the chicken soup, the tomatoes and burratta and the rice balls as appetizer. Everything was very tasty and filling. The rice balls were delicious. For the main course we had the Cesar salad with Salmon and the Tortellini capellini. The salmon was cook to perfection. The tortellini was spinach and stuffed with plenty of cheese that melted in your mouth. For dessert we had the Tiramisu delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Service has to improve. Waited for drinks for over 30 mins. Our appetizer came out before our drinks. Service overall has to be improved.
we ordered an appetizer of meatballs. the Sause and mashed potatoes or yucca were also cold. otherwise, everything else was very good. our server had an excellent personality and great sense of humor.
Celebrated my hubby's birthday here based on a friend's recommendation. The restaurant overall did not disappoint! From the white bread, meatballs, to the kale salad! The entree sizes were giving lunch tomorrow! I had the chicken parm, and hubby had short rib dish! All of our friends enjoyed their meals. My peachy mock tail was refreshing and fruity! We sang happy birthday over their butter cake(the only thing I did not like)! But hey Cheesecake Factory is in walking distance soooo... you already know!
