Palma offers an intimate and exclusive dining experience that is both thoughtful and delicious. The restaurant's interior is dimly lit and sparse, featuring concrete walls and floors, along with candlelit wooden tables and chairs. The staff provides exceptional service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu changes every month, with chef Juan Camilo involved in every aspect of the experience. Dishes are creatively presented, including the Bouquet course, a fresh and tasty dip served with edible flowers and herbs, and the Shrimp course, wrapped in steamed collard greens. The standout Porcini dessert features caramelized white chocolate and kale, while the Orange course serves as a refreshing palate cleanser. The wine pairing was leaning more towards natural and skin contact wines, but the somm offered a partial tasting which was a thoughtful recommendation. The food was delicious and balanced, with 9 courses that left guests feeling quite full. Service was fantastic, and the staff beautifully explained the amazing flavors. The restaurant with the open kitchen was wonderful, and guests had fun sitting at the bar. Palma provides friendly service and a unique dining atmosphere that feels reminiscent of Brooklyn, all at a reasonable price point.
