Pinecrest Bakery on the Miami River is an amazing bakery with a warm and welcoming feeling. The location is noted for having plenty of parking and being a great late-night option. From the moment one walks in, the place smells heavenly. The staff provides excellent hospitality, is super friendly and patient, and treats customers with outstanding service.
The food is exceptional, fresh, and delicious. Popular items include the spinach & ropa vieja empanadas, croqueta de queso y bacalao, and Nutella pastelita. The pastelitos, éclairs, cheesecakes, and bread are all perfectly fresh and tasty. The house hot sauce with a hint of guava is insanely good. Other highlights are the papas fritas (curly fries), sandwiches, cakes, and an exceptional hot chocolate. The bakery is clean, organized, and often busy, but the service remains excellent, making it a favorite go-to spot.
